  1. I want to take any image and make it into a stencil but I can’t figure out how to make the image only a certain amount of colors. That way, I can separate it out by each color for different layers of the stencil. For example, the image I have attached has blocks of color for shadows and highlights as well as completely different colors. I know you can select the tonal range in Affinity Photo but thats not really what I’m looking for. This may not be possible but I thought I’d at least ask. Any tips or help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! Picture below is not mine, only for reference.
  2. How do I change a particular color in an image to another color? For example, if I have a green toned background and want to make it to brown, how do I do that without changing all the green in the picture? Thank you very much!
  3. I'm importing a jpg file with a white background. I want to change all the white pixels to black pixels without changing any other pixels. More generally, I'd like to change pixels of any specific color to pixels of any other specific color without affecting other pixels. Does anyone know how to do this with affinity? Thank you! Martin J
  4. Dear forum, I am trying to change a color in a picture with Affinity photo and I have found some general tutorials on how to change colors. In my case however, I have to match a very specific target color (e.g. RGB 0,233,55). Can someone please explain, if that is possible and how to do that? The color changer dialog that is used in the tutorials I have found, is using a very rough adjustment only (see attached). Thanks! Mick
  5. I set up a new page to create a set of painting brushes. Used the New document, set to transparency and started to create a few brushes. Saved them as PNG files. When I installed them I imported them as "New intensity Brush". I set up a new document, went to new layer and selected the first new brush. Set color value and I noticed the more times I clicked on the brush the lighter the color became, but color intensity did not change on color wheel. Any idea why, all my other brushes that I didn't create do not do that.
  6. Hi, Can I change a specific color in a photo by clicking on it and then clicking on a replacement color from the color panel. Example, my grand daughter has a blue dress on and I want to change it to red without affecting anby other part of the photo. I played around with the HSL Adjustment by selecting Blue and using the sliders however it changed other parts of the photo. Looking to Click on a color in a photo such as dress and then change just that color using the color panel. Is this possible?? Thanks, Rudy
