@MEB I did a search but couldn't find anything... is it possible to close a curve when drawing a curve with the pencil tool. In illustrator holding down the option key works. Anything in designer like that? Currently I'm drawing the curve, then I select the last node and snap it to the first node to close it. This is a step I don't want to have to do over the course of possibly hundreds of curves.

I'd like to request a feature/key press for the pencil tool behaviour that would allow you to close the curve you're drawing? In illustrator holding down the option key does this. Currently I'm drawing the curve, then I select the last node and snap it to the first node to close it. This is a step I'd rather not have to do over the course of possibly hundreds of curves. I could use the pen tool but sometimes the pencil feels more organic and is quicker when precision is not what you're after... would love to see this added to the 1.7 lineup, thanks for considering this. :-)

I have huge problems when working with shapes, how to open them / break them, how to join curves, how to close curves. It always end up in a mess. Is there a GOOD tutorial explaining this? I have looked around, and this very basic very important topic hasn't really given me answers. Especially the 'break curve' function is a major headache. I can click a node where I want the curve split, click the 'Break Curve' button in the Action panel, and nothing happens. The curve is as whole as it was before I started. This is really driving me nuts. Also, is there a way to toggle handles on off. When I want to move a node, I almost always end up grabbing a handle instead of the node, unless I am zoomed in really much. I hope there is someone out there who can help me out. Thank you!
