  1. The Chromatic aberration removal does not seem to be responding in the develop persona. When I tick the box nothing happens. I noticed in a video online (from 2018) that a grey box appears on screen (similar to when you press the Develop button) showing you that the image is being processed. Sorry not a good image but all I could get - at least you get the idea what I am talking about. I see absolutely no change in any images I try it out on. Nor do the de fringe sliders make any difference. Does this mean I have no CA/fringing ??? or that this function is not working properly ??? I can see purple/green fringing and I sometimes get it blurred when I use the de fringe sliders
  2. Hi, I’m new on photography editing and also affinity photo. I read about chromatic aberration correction with affinity photo on iPad but besides the fact I could find it on persona and I used a raw file to try it but didn’t work. I have been searching for tutorials but didn’t fine anything for iPad. Anyone can help me? Many thanks.
  3. Sorry, but Chromatic Aberration correction needs to be fine adjustable for color and pixel width before I will use Affinity for my day to day work, I am afraid.
  4. Work much better with layers than with filter ! Chromatic Reduction aberration in Persona Develop give very low result ! IMHO
  5. I have recently purchased Affinity Photo and started to play around with it in the last couple of days. It's a great software and I am still learning the ropes, but I have run into an issue that I have been unable to solve so far. I have an image of winter mountaineering in Glen Coe that shows moderate purple fringing which I have attempted to reduce as described in one of the official video tutorials, but none of the methods work. Whether I am working with a live filter layer or through the Filters => Colours => 'Chromatic Aberration' or 'Defringe', the amount of fringing does not change in the slightest, even when applying the latter several times. The fringing is both prominent and in stark contrast to the surrounding areas, so should not be difficult to remove for any software. I have made sure my layers are selected properly (ignore the fact that in the screenshot they're not) and have not managed to find any solution via Google or this forum. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? Screenshot attached.
  6. Forgive me if this is already posted somewhere but I didn't see it. ACR shows automatic adjustments for different lenses and it automatically tracks what lens was used. In AP, when processing RAW images, I see the lens adjustments but from what I can tell its just all manually controlled via sliders. Am I missing any preset adjustments for various Canon L series lenses? Thank you!
  7. It looks like I have to manually apply lens corrections, like CA. These issues are normally covered in camera. Does this have to do with AP not recognizing my Fujinon lenses? Applying these corrections is very difficult without some profiles.
