  1. Hi there! I'm in charge of the senior photos (and yes, I know, the lightning is not perfect but It’s the best I can do with one shot box). This is a test image and I will try to get rid of the ripples in the greenscreen, but I am afraid it won't get much better. Can you help me find a way to efficiently remove the greenscreen from a sh*tton of photos? Maybe with batch processing? Sadly, I'm kind of a newbie and I appreciate ANY help and tips! TYSM! <3
  2. You have produced some awesome software. Working in a school, I have used Serif for many years. I am very honest with my findings. I did not like Serif Web Plus, but I did like PhotoPlus X8, Page Plus X9, Draw Plus X8 and Movie Plus X6. Your Affinity has now improved on all but Movie Plus X6. The long and short is that we need a movie editing package in schools and so do many others companies. I have just moved schools and we tried to purchase Movie Plus X6 from you but sadly you won't even sell it anymore due to Codex Licences, so we are stuck with X3. We really need some way of editing movies and your interface would really lend it's self to that. Now you have done the others, please consider a movie editing package to complete the pack or at the very least, look at some way of re-releasing Movie Plus X6 to those that need it, but an Affinity version would be spot on. Finally, the ability to create stop-frame and Keyframe animation in Affinity Designer would be good so it matches Draw Plus X8. Thank you so much for reading this. Al
  3. Hi Is it possible with “one click” to replace a Green Screen with a transparent background in Affinity Photo? Normally I’m using Final Cut Pro X to make videos, and in this application I’m used to use Green Screen as Chroma key. Is there a similar function in Affinity Photo?
  4. Photoshop has traditionally had the Select > Color Range command. There is also HSL keying inside the Hue/Saturation adjustment toolset, which, annoyingly cannot be used to create selections for use with other commands without clumsy workarounds (that I know much better than I would care to admit). What I am hoping to see is a non-destructive way to do masking based on luminance, HSL tools, as well as possibly more sophisticated keying algorithms that are found in video software (Primatte, Keylight, etc.). Most video-focussed color correction software (DaVinci Resolve, Speedgrade, Lustre, Baselight, FilmMaster, Assimilate Scratch) allows for non-destructive HSL keying already. The most elegant way I can imagine this working inside Photo is that similar to regular layer masks, a new procedural mask layer type for non-destructive HSL/Select Color Range masks with adjustable parameters would be available. Like an adjustment layer, except that the result would be a mask instead of an RGBA image, to be used just like regular layer masks. That way, it would be easy to adjust the selection parameters interactively after the fact, and, if need be, rasterize destructively to a regular raster mask layer. In additions to the keying in Luma, RGB, HSL, YUV and LAB, parameters for blurring the result, expanding/contracting the mask would be useful. The exact same functionality could then double as a vastly improved "Select Color Range" command as well.
  5. How can I key out a particular color in Photos? This is a pretty standard feature but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
