  1. I recently illustrated a Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly (Protographium marcellus) for my brother. He wanted a photo, which I did not have, so I decided to create an illustration for him instead. I used AD v2.31., but spent a lot of time in the Pixel Persona. I also made a few trips to Affinity Photo for a few features that AD does not support. Hope you like it.
  2. A small butter-fly having a moment of rest. I clipped the image, I added Levels, Vibrance, Curve and Selective Colors adjustment only for the right wing and for the body.
  3. My first creation using my new XP-Pen Artist 13.3 Pro. Very pleased with this piece of kit and impressed at how must it speeds up the whole process. Not sure how to deal with all these fine brush strokes though? Already caused the program to lock up once last night and file size heading towards 100MB? There must be a way to flatten or something? I tried adding all the brushes in each layer together into one layer, but that ended up increasing the file size and running a bit slow..
  4. Pure Vector, no pixels, some coffees https://b-bertuleit.de/butterfly-vector-portrait/
  5. Hello Friends, here are some (butterfly) vector graphics that I created with Affinity Designer. Schmetterling als Vektorgrafik: Schwalbenschwanz (Papilio machaon, the old world swallowtail). http://b-bertuleit.de/vector-butterfly/ What do you think about this? Looking forward to a feedback from you, thank you very much.
  6. Vector Illustration (AD), The movie "2046" by Wong Kar-Wai inspired me to this vector graphic. The boa and the butterfly come from me. I think that fits;-)
  7. started off as one butterfly, then it became this. Large Wire. All my posted artwork was created using AD and a MBP's trackpad.
  8. Vector, Affinity Designer http://b-bertuleit.de/her-companion/
