Hey, i am experiencing a bug while i moving multiple objects after the save. F.E. i select 10 objects in my design, then move them any direction using SHIFT+arrow and then save it CTRL+S. After the saving process that objects randomly move around the artboard. Sometimes dismiss only after changing position or make themselves hidden under any other layer...bad bad objects :) Pls, try to inspect that problem. I ve uploaded the .afdesign for you. Try to select all that 8 boxes with product sample images. I bought a licence and using 1.5.0.36 (no beta) Sincerely Tomas spkolo_redesign2016 - kopie (2).afdesign -
Hi! I was excited to lay my hands on Affinity photo. I enjoyed the other program, so I gave it a try. I was interested especially lighting effects and other stuff. To my dissapointment, it isn't too stable yet. Hard to find out how to move lighting source after I gave more than one to the picture. The lighting sometimes moves around without any reason. But always I tried, after I delete one lightsource and wish to use one only, the program crashes under Windows 10. Every single time. So is it the win or something else...?

Hello, When increasing the saturation for both the master and a specific color within the same HSL adjustment layer, the specific color turns desaturated when pushed to the limit.

Usually all my Affinity changes show up in Apple Photos but when I go to make further edits in Affinity all the changes get lost. Is this happening to anyone else? Is this a bug? It almost seems like I should just edit all my photos from the Finder since it doesn't look like the Apple Photo to Affinity Photo "edit in" feature is working. Frustrating. The layers usually get flattened when exiting from Affinity but does that mean I can't go back and keep the look of the edits I just did? That doesn't make sense to me. -
I couldn't see anything mentioning this before or i'm just being blind but when I add vertical guides through the guide manager on one artboard it works fine. When I have multiple artboards it changes the figure to be something random with a minus. I can't see what i'm doing wrong to cause this. Also is there a way to place a guide on multiple artboards?

The angle of the outer cone is actually 90°, but 0.7° are displayed. This problem occurs with the regular lighting filter, as well as with the lighting live filter layer.

Dear team first i have to say: great work ! I love to play arround whith the new beta. looking forward to leave Adobe soon. found a little thing: changing the size of a pic. 200 x 200 mm to 100 x 100 mm, padlock enabled. it comes out as 100 x 8,5 mm keep it up!

I have been trying a number of different features of Affinity Photo, and while much of its capability is commendable, the focus merge feature seems to be washing out the final photo to the point that it is unusable when I use the Canon RAW files from an EOS 70D. It seems to work OK when the RAW files are converted to jpegs, although by starting with jpegs I don't have enough dynamic range to do many adjustments. For some reason the board is not letting me upload the final result. My original RAW files are too big to upload. -
Onedrive collection of files - X3F, TIF, JPG First, when I open a .X3F that I shot portrait orientation, it's opening landscape. When I open a TIF generated from Sigma's software, it opens up correctly as portrait. Second, I am seeing some artifacts. It almost looks like noise but it's too uniform. The picture is muddy and has purple dots. When attempting to export a design that has inner shadow on text. the shadow does not appear where it is supposed to. Latest AD for windows.

Hi, The Brush Force pressure to control size option works fine on the first image after startup, but not on any other opened after that. If I restart Photo then Force pressure works again (on the first image). I'm running Win 7 and Photo 1.5.0.35 with a Huion New 1060Plus. -
Hello, When two or more images are open, the Pan tool toolbar will continue to show the dimensions (and color space, etc) of the first opened image regardless of the currently selected image, unless another tool is selected and then the Pan tool is chosen again. -
Hello all, my app crashed fo an unknown reason and and since then I have not been able to re-open it any more. I have tried to uninstall it and reinstall again several times. I have tried to delete all related AP files. Without success. Each time I try to open the app, I need to force quit, otherwise it eats up all my ressources on my MAC Someone any idea what is wrong and how to solve the issue? Hello, I've begun first steps with Affinity designers, and it looks like a vey nice and very powerful vector drawing application ! First remarks: - Can't see the mouse cursor with Shape tool: it is black or dark gray, which is unwatchable on dark background. I was following the Beginner video of the tutorial, and in the video, the mouse cursor appear as a white cross. So ideally an algorithm would check how dark or light the visible layer is, and change the color of the cursor appropriately. Or change it so that it is both white and dark. - Manuscript-like fonts look positively awful on screen. I haven't printed yet to see if it is the same low quality on print. - I'm using a 40 inch 4K monitor and the UI could be bigger. Ideally it would be possible to choose the scale of the UI (or at least of toolbars). If not possible, maybe a choice between 1x and 2x ? Keep up the good work, I'm very impressed by the illustrations of the Welcome screen, that show all the possibilities of this software. Cedric

In pixel persona if I left mouse button click on Free hand Selection tool Affinity designer instantly crashes.

Another member pointed this out and I tried it and the software instantly crashed. Selecting the freehand selection tool in pixel persona mode crashes the software. Save your work before trying it! Ryan. -
Hi Developers, I have made full steps to reproduce video to show a bug that happens when you want to use guides and have multiple artboards. The guide positions are offsetted. Hi. I've been experimenting with the latest (.26) Affinity Designer RC the past few days and have a recurring issue where AD crashes while I am drawing complex curves with the pen. It seems to usually happen after I've drawn and copied a curve several times, and then try to draw another one connected to those. Situations like in the image below. I didn't notice this happening on the previous RC but I also didn't use it nearly as much as this one. I'm using: Win 10 64 bit core i5-4690S with integrated intel GPU 16 gb ram ssd Love the program, can't wait for the final release! -
Most of the time (not all of the time, difficult to tell when it will strike) the "Space After Paragraph" setting in the Paragraph panel sets itself to 12pt rather than a default value, regardless of the font size. This is based on a fresh installation of RC2 on Windows 10 Pro; it's effectively happening on the first document I've produced with this installation of AD and I haven't changed any of the default settings. If there's any other details you need, let me know and I'll try to provide them. -
Hi, In the "Configuration" (Setup menu) the oppened window title should read "Configuration du document" instead of "Document Setup" When we change the unit PIxel to Points, we don't see any difference in the measures, same size are showed for both (it's only happened in the Setup panel), I've tried with a new document and the size change between Pixels and Points without problem.

Hello everybody, I would like to submit a bug that is related to Symbols feature. I use Symbols a lot in my project and sometimes I have symbol in symbol in symbol :) The problem is that the symbol are disappearing from instances. Steps to Reproduce. 0. Start AD create new document 1. Create rectangle make it a symbol (Create button) 2. Create circle make it another symbol (Create button) 3. Now in the layer panels put one circle symbol inside rectangle symbol (Sync enabled). 4. Notice Symbols window doesn't update symbol view. 5. Create new rectangle symbol instance to see there is no circle in it 6. Now click at the circle symbol instance (which is inside the rectangle symbol instance) and right-click -> duplicate 7. Notice circle appear in the both rectangle symbol instances and also in the Symbol window Variation 1: 8. Now delete one of the instances circle symbol instances (there are two) in the rectangle instance 9. Notice both circle instances will disappear also from all rectangle symbol instances. Variation 2: 8. Click on the one of the circle symbol instances which are in the rectangle symbol instance and hit "Detach" 9. Delete this new object which is not a symbol anymore 10. Notice remaining circle symbol instance stays intact. If you would like to make me a video let me know. There are also some other situations when the symbol in symbols disappears but I am not yet sure when it happens, but I guess it is the same problem. Good luck :)

Thank you bringing this great tool to Windows. I'm using Fireworks (still using) for most of my UI stuff and still love it. But we all know about the future... I just started to work on some icons in AD and want them to be exported slicewise as svg. The export itself works great (you implemented very good features for naming and format and also the svg-code looks very lean and clean) BUT: The Slices panel works awfully slow. Only the slices panel. Clicking on a slice in the panel to select it takes more than 10 seconds. Nearly everything for manipulating the slices in the Slices panel takes that time each click except setting and unsetting the little checkmark. Is it only a problem on my machine? HW: Dell m3800 Laptop with Win10-64bit.

Hello, Found bad rendering in the Pixel view mode. If you put some light object inside a dark object there is dark outline around the parent edge with alpha pixels. blue-outline.afdesign

When the Levels adjustment's Gamma parameter is set to maximum (2), extremely incorrect and undesirable results occur. Refer to attached images.

AD is always very 'generous' in creating extra elements when I never asked for them. This is without option dragging or duplicating as a command. Result is I go to move something there are 3 copies underneath. Or because of the same... apparent transparency get's thickened up when i don't want. I've been getting this since the earliest version (I'm an early AD adopter), just put up with it but now we're 1.5 - really this shouldn't be happening Not sure where bugs get posted, can't believe others haven't had this issue. Can this be fixed soon please, or is there something I may be doing to create it? (Running on El Capitan.)
