  1. Hi. If I select a tool and then use the space bar to get the hand cursor icon to move the photo about, when I release the space bar the hand stays showing instead of immediately reverting back to the original tool icon. That feels odd. Often, the hand will change to the tool if I move the mouse, which isn't ideal - or click which I may not want to do as that activates the tool. However, in some cases the hand remains there (again unless I click or) unless I move it to the tool bar and back again (without clicking, doesn't need to be the same tool). This has happened with the floodfill tool, selection brush and colour picker - I haven't tried many other tools. Thanks. Nigel
  2. I see this was reported three and four years ago and has never been fixed. It appears to be a problem in all Affinity apps on all platforms. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/37046-view-tool-gets-stuck-very-often-when-pressing-space-bar/ https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/26366-ad-151-mac-problem-with-the-view-hand-tool-spacebar-shortcut/ Choose the Selection Brush Tool and select part of the pixel image. Press spacebar to activate View Tool (Hand pointer) to move document in the window. Release spacebar, expecting to see the Selection Brush pointer since that was the active Tool before pressing the spacebar. Instead, the Hand pointer remains visible, which should indicate that the View Tool remains active. In fact, the Selection Brush Tool did indeed again became active on releasing the spacebar, but APhoto is displaying the pointer for the View Tool. This becomes immediately obvious if you make the mistake of clicking on the image with the Hand pointer. On clicking the image, he pointer immediately returns to the brush outline and selects part of the image. How can this bug still exist after four years? It is incredibly annoying to have the wrong pointer displayed for an editing tool. Is there any point in users reporting simple, basic bugs given that no one pays any attention to us?
  3. With the blemish tool selected (icon as a circle) if I want to move across the image with the spacebar pressed (icon as a hand), the cursor doesn't return to the circle icon after releasing the space bar (it remains with the hand icon); the same behavior occurs with the inpainting brush tool.
  4. Hi, sometimes when I work with Affinity Photo or Affinity Designer after some time I can't select the instruments on the palette anymore and the pointer is in the view tool mode (hand icon). To reset all, I have to close and open again the document. Anyone knows how to fix it?
  5. Holding down space bar invokes view tool with hand cursor icon so you can drag around. You know this. However, when you release the spacebar the cursor icon remains as a hand and does not revert to the previous function, even though clicking invokes the function. This can lead to confusion and unintentional error. Not a biggie, but one for those spare moments
