Wondering how Affinity Photo is preparing or has prepared the integration of AI like Adobe does at the moment. I saw that Adobe Photoshop is now able to work with AI. Insert objects with written statements, remove items enhance the image and edit in seconds in stead of hours. Ai is now entering the photo tools. It’s amazing and I’m looking forward to get such also in Affinty Photo. It is for me worth to switch back since my workflow and edit time will be substantial reduced. Have a look at it below and just like the title says, it’s amazing. Serif, Can we expect such also in short term? Is is already available as plug-in in a certain way? or will this be End Of Life of Affinty Photo?

Trying to test a book layout ... 300 pages ... facing ... each page 2 columns ... any chance to get the columns preset for all pages? All text frames connected ... Or starting with one page (double column masterpage) and AP automatically adds all necessary pages to fit the imported text into columns of all pages? Or is AP currently more designed for flyers and small print projects? Cheers, Timo

I would like to be able to use the pencil tool with auto fill on but not have it "auto filling"as I draw, it is very distracting and makes it really hard to see exactly where I am drawing. Is there any way to make the completed shape autofill once I lift my pencil to start a new shape a-la Illustrator? I like to draw using shapes (even for line work), but the autofill feature "filling" as I draw is kind of a drag. It kind of kills the flow. Any hope to add this type of feature in the future?

Had a great time with the new function - thanx alot for adding it. Worked very smooth, even with a huge pile of layers. As far as I can tell everything crisp and clean. :)

Relaxed drawing of a classic topic. Wanted to get the outlines right so it took some time. Used 2 different textured brushes for overlays and clouds. Half of them with a 50% Gaussian Blur. Always thought that cat in the story is great - so it got a Martini ;)

Really love the precision of AD. Had lots of fun with this. The star is a new character for a vinyl sticker. Fascinated by the infinite zoom - everything is so crisp. Used the layer fx alot. Great to have the possibility to give different fx to different elements on ONE layer in such an intuitive way.

Hi guys, total Newbie here. Love Affinity, very snappy. Of course I found quite some bugs, that's why we are testing. Can I post my findings here or is that a no-go? While working on this illustration I was missing deeply a function I'd like to see here. General question or idea: is there a way to draw in autofill/loop mode with the vector line-tool? that's for creating closed shapes, maybe with a smoothing slider? And even more important: do you see a way to integrate intelligent gradient fill for this function? would be a KILLER feature. Settings: Smooth, Autoloop, Fill, Gradient The idea is to make the gradient fill depending on where you start drawing your shape. Gradient fill always from color to transparency, with a slider for color intensity. (Please see attached file). 1 is the starting position. There is only one app offering this and it's sooo helpful. Second attachment is my first drawing with Affinity, hope you like it ;)
