  1. Good afternoon, guys. Does anyone know how to copy the size and location of one layer to another? Since resizing and locating an image so that it is the same as another is very tedious. Please I hope your help. In the attached image I show the example, layer 1 I want to have the size and location of layer 2. Thank you.
  2. It will be an awesome feature if you put a "Selection method according to attribute" which means when we need to Select Same color (Fill or Stroke), same opacity, or same appearance. It is so much helpful after tracing an image to select a range of colors. When working on a flyer or packaging design for production selecting similar color or select strokes that have same thickness or fill color to change together all those needs select with attribute option. Consider a special tool for those selection purpose with a bunch of option to rectify and narrowing selection range or Add all those features to the Move/ Selection tool.
  3. I purchased Affinity Designer several months ago to facilitate my web development flow while avoiding subscription-based software (Illustrator) and buggy freeware (Inkscape). Creating web designs in AD is a superb experience, but exporting parts as SVG for web usage, often interactive, is an absolute nightmare. My workflow bottlenecks hard when I have to manually modify a majority of the elements within the file. Worst yet, if any design change is required I have to manually modify the elements again on a fresh export. To be completely honest, if Inkscape didn't crash and corrupt so frequently I'd put up with its awful UX purely for its web-oriented SVG exporting advantage. Steps I frequently need to do manually for web usage and file size reduction: Create style element and convert matching style attributes into shared classes Reduce excessive tspan occurrences Convert common positioning to group transforms Occasionally convert absolute to relative coordinates (paths, lines, etc.) Add custom attributes (ex: Vue.js attributes) Remove AD attributes (serif:id) What can I do within AD to reduce the amount of manual corrections on web-oriented SVG exports? Are there any plans to add such features to AD in the near future? A personal example of a prettified AD file without any other modification:
  4. I've already posted this in Questions & Feedback but since it doesn't seem to be implemented yet, I'm adding it as a request. For example, I have a square which only has a fill color (no stroke). If I click on another shape, let's say a circle and I'm changing it's stroke color, when I click back on the square, I would like the color panel to auto-select the fill attribute (since it's the only attribute the square has) instead of keeping the stroke attribute selected (from the previous change). My logic is that I would want to change it's color rather than add a stroke to it. This way would eliminate an unnecessary extra click and speed you up when you'd have to repeat the action several times.
