  1. Hello, is it possible to automatically fill in areas that are made of several paths? So I don't have to draw an area again that was already surroundet by lines that were not coherent. It would be really nice if you could do that with one of the Affinity products, so far I haven't found a function for this. Greetings
  2. Text frame tool buggy behaviour Affinity Designer v1.8.6, macos Catalina 10.15.7. Reproduce: Set cell stroke > 0 on a tab " " or a space " ". After doing that you can visualize the bug by moving the cursor around the text frame. The cursor will change into an editing caret even if you're far outside the text frame. Also if you click with the selection tool somewhere above and well outside the text frame; it will still be selected. Select the text frame and export "Selection without background". Expected result: a pdf showing only the text in the selected text frame. Actual result: the pdf displays white areas to the top and left of the text frame extending all the way to the top and left edge of the page as it was appearing in Designer. See below for a better explanation:
  3. Hello friends, I’m a total newbee. I’m just wondering if there is a way to select multiple areas of a layer at one time. For example, I would like to create a selection rectangle around a portion of the image, and then in another location in the same layer select another portion. Then I could copy both into a new layer at the same time. Photoshop also has the ability to create multiple rectangles and merge the selections or subtract from them. I tried holding down COMMAND or SHIFT on my keyboard without result. Right now I am actually using the flood selection tool (magic wand) in order to select red letters of a word. I would like to be able to select all of the letters, then do a copy and paste it into the new layer. I know there are other ways of doing this (like selecting a color tone) but if I just want to do multiple selects, how would I do so? Any ideas? Thank you! Have a great day!! - Rich Using iPad Pro 2nd Gen 12.9”
