Hi I spent most of yesterday afternoon trying to download the latest AD and AP updates from the App Store. The App Store says the updates are available but when I try to update I just get the grey spinning wheel in the top left corner of the panel. The only reason the Apple geniuses could give, after endless chat, was that the updates are not compatible with my machine. I am on an iMac running Sierra 10.12.1. Any clues? Stephen

Is there going to be an option to buy this from you directly outside the App Store? The reason being, in many creative agencies the designers don't own the software or machines they are working on, thus not being able to use a personal apple ID on a given machine in a department of say 20 or 30 designers split between two buildings. I also know I'm not going to set up a bogus Apple ID for all the machines to download a copy and tie a credit card to it. (Apple just makes buying theses kinds of apps in a corporate setting really hard.) Just curious on how this would work? Are you offering multi-licensing for business?

I tried to purchase both Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer today based upon the special offers of $29.99 and $39.99 respectively. However the prices are not reflected correctly in the App Store. They are both selling for their full price. Is there some way of correcting this? I tried contacting Apple Support, but they referred me to the forum here. I could not find a contact link anywhere on the Affinity Serif website.

Hi Guys, We are looking to replace Photoshop across the board at all our offices with Affinity Photo. We are having trouble doing volume purchasing for our staff in India via Apples volume purchase program. Is there any way for us to buy licenses directly from Affinity, or anywhere else other than the App Store. If we volume buy licenses in the Australian or US app store will they be legally O.K. for use in india, or should be buy licenses some other way for these staff. Cheers Ben

I started trying to download the update from Affinity Photo v.1.4 to v.1.4.1 on Jan 22. Two days later I'm still getting the error: "Affinity Photo failed to download. Use the Purchases page to try again." When I go to the <Purchased> tab of the App Store, I get the same error. Is this something Affinity can fix, or do I need to start troubleshooting with Apple? -gw

Was tun?

The team have now also released 1.4.1 updates on Jan 20th 2016, incremental patches to squash some bugs—visit your App Store to update now! Read a little more about 1.4.1 updates. [/edit] --------------------------------------------- Hi all As many of you will know after seeing numerous beta versions over the last few months, our dev team have been working very hard and we're delighted to share the fruit of their labour with everyone! Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo both have new 1.4 updates available now in the Mac App Store, free to existing customers! And to celebrate these updates, both apps are now on a 20% discount offer to entice new customers, bringing the normal price of US$49.99/€49.99/£39.99 down to US$39.99/€39.99/£29.99 for one week, ending December 15th. Here's a little taste of what's new in both apps... Full support for DCI-P3 extended gamut iMac displays Pro printing including PDF/X and Pantone support Custom keyboard shortcuts More languages And a look at what's in Affinity Photo: Six extensions for Apple Photos on El Capitan Pro image stitching in new Panorama persona Live image stacks And Affinity Designer: Artboards! Custom rotation centre We've packed in plenty more too, more than some devs would add in paid upgrades :) There is also improved PSD compatibility, updated RAW support, improved typography, Split Screen on El Cap, workflow and performance improvements—all across both apps. Visit your Mac App Store update page to get your hands on the good stuff and see what else has been added in the 1.4.1 incremental updates. As always there is useful info on the Mac App Store pages for Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo and you can check out the overview videos on our blog. Thanks guys, you've knocked it out the park yet again! Thanks for reading, Dale.

hello, i just downloaded from the app store the new 1.4.1 version of AP and the 1.4.1 beta 4 versione does not start anymore (as expected). in the last few weeks i spent some time to change the configuration of the toolbar, but the new app does have the default configuration again. is there a fast way to port the beta configuration to the released app (i.e.: copying or renaming or overwriting some preference file, or something like this)? thanks in advance stefano

After installing the latest update of Affinity Designer from the App Store, Affinity Designer Beta say it will not open without the App Store version of Affinity Designer being installed. What do I need to do to resolve this problem so I can use the Beta version? Or is that because the App store version is the most up to date version?

Hi - I've been saving up funds to purchase Affinity for Mac and planned on purchasing it through the app store on July 23, 2015 (the last day the $39.99 price was active). When I attempted to purchase the app, the price was $49.99 even though it was 8:30pm July 23, 2015... I reached out to Serif customer support and they instructed me to bring up the issue here. Why wasn't the $39.99 price honored as advertised? Warm regards, jrr52
