  1. I've photographed a couple of weddings for friends (I don't normally do them) which the clients have asked for their digital photos to be put into an album. I have Affinitity Photo Publisher and Designer V1, and see that V2 is just released. As a photographer, Photo is the only app I really make use of. Basically I would be happy to buy the V2 suite at the discount launch price if you can tell me that I can use one or more of the apps to make a super printed Wedding album. I remember Apple Aperture had an album printing function within the software and Apple would get it printed and post to you. Or are Wedding photographers using the Wedding Album printers built in software to do the layout? Cheers, Spike
  2. Just completed some artwork for DBD new album ---- all vector -----
  3. Here are some album covers that I worked on a while ago but never got round to properly finishing. One is for a sort of "hard rock" cover (a bit of GIMP work on the background) and the other is more "trance" (all AD) but using the same logotype. The logotype was originally Times New Roman - I'm fairly sure of that - but AD made the modifications pretty easy, for the most part anyway. Neither is particularly Earth-shattering or anything like that but I thought I'd post them in case they were interesting to anyone (and before I completely forgot about them). P.S. The band name is fictional and not related to any existing band with the same name (I just thought it made some nice shapes).
  4. Hey guys! New poster (and user) here! I've done some designs and have been messing around with the programs. Originally, being an amateur photographer I got Affinity Photo for editing and quickly realized the amazing uses I could do with it. I do a lot of design work for the band now, logos for tshirts and stickers, show posters... I recently downloaded the trial for Affinity Designer and man, am I ever impressed!!! I will be buying it as well. Again, I'm still pretty new at this whole world and learning every day so take it east on me! Haha.. Constructive criticism is definitely welcome! Anyways, here is my first real crack at it. I designed our entire album packaging (cover, back and insert panels. Here is a picture of the cover done with Affinity Photo.
