I purchased the software only 1 day ago and I've already had several crashes in the middle of doing an edit. The program seems to lag, says "Not Responding" at the top of the window, then crashes. I lose all of the work I have done to the photo. Also, in the develop mode adjusting the sliders or number values in "white balance" does nothing to the image. Not a good first impression so far and glad I decided against buying Designer and Publisher until I became more familiar with the products. Hoping this if fixed soon. Window 10 (all current updates installed), I7 8550U, 16 GB.

Hello My first post for that default : july 10 2019 If found this little default in all versions of Develop beta versions. Last test with 1.8.4.647. I make a job on a raw picture. As I have over pictures took in the same conditions, i record a preset for details modifications (by example). I give a name to that preset : "Traitement 1". Now I open a new raw picture, the combobox is still "Traitement 1" but the job is not ok, I need to re select "Traitement1" to make the job ! I think it would be a good evolution to position presets on default when a new picture is opened.

In the develop persona there is a button 'Add preset' on the top right-hand side. How exactly does the preset work? Am I correct in assuming that you can save ones editing settings to be recalled later for use with a similar type image? If so, how does one recall it?

Hello, I am testing the workflow: DxO PureRAW and AP. Since the lens correction is already done in PureRAW, I have created another preset ("Without_Correction") in the Develop Persona. This preset is displayed as selected. But you have to click on the preset again and again to use it, because it seems that the preset "Standard" is always active, which you can also see in the settings that belong to "Standard" and not to the new preset. Only after clicking on the "Without_Correction" template its settings (all deselected) are used. regards, Uwe

Hi, in Develop Persona when I tried to use a personal saved preset, specifically in the Basic tab, the White Balance settings appears as deactivated. In my saved preset these has values. Thanks

I use presets all of the time but there are a few bugs in the 2.2.0 (1881) build. After making adjustments to an image I create a preset to use with similar images. In this version, when I apply the preset it does take effect, but the categories below are not "checked" even though the effect is being applied. This makes it difficult to know what effects are actually being applied since they are, but it's not "checked". Two exceptions to this is that the "Shadows &Highlights" section and "White Balance" ARE always checked, bit they are not doing anything. Which means that I have to "uncheck" them and then "check" them to see the effect. This is true even if I am NOT using presets. They do nothing until I un-check them and the re-check them. Additionally, even when I "uncheck" and then "check" the White Balance section, I still have to click on one of the sliders (Temp or Tint) to cause the adjustment to take effect. I am using a MacBook Pro, Apple M1 and running Mac OS Big Sur (11.4) Thanks, John P.

Steps to reproduce: Open developer persona Make sure you have at least two preset saved that you can distinguish by their settings Select one preset as you always do Move the mouse pointer over that dropdown list and press the left button (the dropdown opens) Keep the button pressed and drag the pointer down to the other preset, only then release the button Actual result: The dropdown list shows the selected name, but the preset has not been applied at all. Expected result: The development settings should match the selected and confirmed preset. This is the behaviour of dropdown selections (ComboBox) on other platforms, including WPF.
