It pops up every time I lift my Apple Pencil from the screen, but it’s never anywhere near where my pencil started or finished the stroke, it’s just randomly in the center-ish of the screen and it’s very distracting. What is it, what is it for, and can I turn it off? IMG_0163.MP4 -
When drawing using the Comic Inks Pen (Pixel Persona), the brush size indicator keeps on showing up when I place my pencil on the iPad’s screen and when I lift my pencil from the iPad’s screen. On other brushes the brush size indicator only show up when selecting the brush, when moving the canvas, and when resizing the brush. However the Comic Inks Pen’s brush size indicator keeps showing up when i start and stop drawing. It’s not affecting anything, it’s just annoying to look at. Is there a way to fix or disable this? I’m using affinity designer for ipad 1.9.2 on iPad Mini 5 (2019) with Apple Pencil 1, iPadOS 14.4.2 FullSizeRender.mov -
Whenever I use the raster brush tool with the Apple Pencil this circle pops up in the middle of the canvas. Very distracting, is there any way to deactivate it? Thank you! -
One really annoying bug (feature??) in Affinity Designer on ipad is the constant return of the brush size indicator in the middle of the screen. Every time I pan or zoom or rotate the canvas while using the brush tools it is shown, which is just very distracting and annoying. The only time this needs to be visible is whan I change the brush size, otherwise there is no logical reason for it being there.

Every time my pen touches the screen I get the brush size preview in the middle of my work space and it lingers for a second, just long enough to pull me out of my work flow. It’s distracting and totally ignorant of the designers and shows they don’t really use this software, they design it. Why it dose this in photo but then not designer. Odd differences between software also show lack of foresight and planning since in software development it is key to have complementing program mirror functionality. But what do I know Im just the ass hole who uses it. And that hole create an account is just further proof Now the effects of this is I just raced through an edit so I could get out of affinity photo so to get back to procreate, because they almost do everything that photo dose, but what’s different is that it’s a pleasure to use.
