You used to be able to right-click on a photo in Mac OS's Photos app, select "edit with... Affinity Photo", make your edits in AP, press Save and FINITO, the edited/fixed file was directly saved into its original location in Mac OS Photos. Seamlessly, simply and FAST. Now this is no longer possible!! I know this is a bug you have been aware of for over a month, but as we still have no feedback, I thought that writing it in the appropriate section would help AP's developers speed this CRUCIAL fix up ASAP (by reminding them)! Dear Developers please hurry! One of the main reasons we love Affinity is because of its ability to work flawlessly & seamlessly with Mac OS. -
When I attempt to develop a RAW photo using the Affinity Develop extension in Apple Photos (Catalina), save changes results in Error message. Have tried with Olympus and Panasonic RAW photos with identical results, also with referenced and managed photos in Apple. Am able to edit jpgs in the Affinity Develop extension but that of course is not the point of the extension. I have also been able to develop RAW photos in the Edit in AP extension, but when I re-open the image in Edit in AP extension, it reverts to the original in AP (as do jpgs). The Mac is on Catalina and it is AP 1.8.2. Had same issue with 1.8.1

While editing Photos directly in the Photo app on my MacBook I am unable to save the Editing done using the Affinity Extensions offered since upgrading to the macOS Catalina 10.15. Is there a fix coming ? Thanks

Running the latest beta of Mac OS Catalina and I cannot save images edited in the AP extension back to Photos. Is this a know bug? It actually appears that no extensions can save back to Photos. Thanks Colin
