  1. Windows 10 Pro build 1909/APhoto 1.8.4.693/Wacom Intuos Pro I have experienced a problem with the new release (also present in beta build 681) where the paint brush changes after the erase brush is used. It happens with Affinity native brushes and purchased ones and it most noticeable when the flow is a low value. To demonstrate: New document add pixel layer select brush with a low flow e.g. Dry media/Triangle crayon draw a few strokes with the paint brush use the erase brush (in my setup this is set to one of the Basic series brushes) draw a few more strokes with the paint brush and see the difference. The only way I have been able to work around this behaviour is to reset the flow (temporarily) to another value without drawing and then set it back again to its original value. This behaviour happens with the Wacom and the mouse. I switch a lot between between drawing and erasing and it's very annoying
  2. Hello, Thank you for the long trial period. I'm new to Affinity, but so far I've been loving it and thinking about ditching my current software and switching to yours. Recently I've spotted a weird problem that's been kind of messing with my workflow. When I draw inside vector shapes in Pixel persona, first line is usually blurry. Then, after I choose other brush, and then go back to the same one again, it's perfectly fine. I've made a screenshot to illustrate the problem. I'm using up-to-date trial version of Affinity Designer on iMac running the latest macOS Catalina (10.15.4). Seems like a bug, but maybe it's something on my end? If so, can i fix it?
  3. Hello there, As much as I'm loving the new Brush Editor features, there's a bug that's been around since the current stable Designer and Photo versions. I've reported it a couple of times already and I hope this issue gets addressed, because it really ruins the experience when using advanced features from the brush panel. When you add the Wet Edges option to a brush (from the editor), this option gets deactivated or non-recognized back when switching tools using the brush command key (B) and many times, when selecting the brush manually from the brushes panel. Let's say I need to erase something; I switch to the Eraser using (E), then I want to go back to my brush using (B) and when I do that, Wet Edges are switched off automatically, unless I double-select that brush... then, Wet Edges are back on. It totally ignores the stored brush settings. This affects dramatically the way brushes were originally designed. Thank you!
