I have the setting 'Warn when assigning working profile to unprofiled files' (Settings -> Color) enabled. When opening TIFF files it works as expected (I get the warning popup and it assigns the working profile that I have configured). However, when opening unprofiled PNG or JPEG files it does not show a warning and assigns sRGB as the color profile, no matter what my working profile is. Here are some unprofiled PNG and JPEG files that I tested this with (these were created by exporting the image from Affinity Photo with 'Embed ICC profiles' and 'Embed metadata' unchecked).

Hello, When I open an image without a color profile, I no longer have a warning (before there was a warning window that was displayed for 5s) and the image is systematically forced to sRGB. I tried several configurations in the "preferences" menu, without success. An idea ? Verso

Hi everybody! I noticed in the current version of Affinity Photo that I'm using (1.8.3) the conversion/assignment notice for an unmanaged color document no longer works. Not only the usual warning pop-up doesn't appear but it seems to apply by default the standard sRGB profile. Any hint? Thank you very much for support

Hi, JPEG files without embedded profile will be always automatically converted to sRGB without any warning, even if the working colour space is set to AdobeRGB and the warning is checked under Preferences/Colour. However the handling of TIFF and PNG files without profile is correct. Please take care, Thx!
