The download instructions for the free macro pack say "Just click the download button to get your free macro pack. To install, open the .afmacros file or alternatively import from your Library panel." If I try to open a .afmacros file, I get a 'Failed to open file' dialog that tells me, "The file is not an Affinity document."

I bought Affinity Photo for windows and it came with the Macro Pack. I followed the directions to install them but the program only looks for Macro (.afmacro) files not (.afmacros) which is what the files are named in the pack that I got. I changed the name and removed the (s) the program then sees it as an option but when I try to import it nothing happens.

Hi, I saw an earlier thread with someone having problems installing macro packs. Read that but I still have problems. My downloaded packs have the extension afmacros but when trying to import on my desktop version it seems Affinity wants files with the extension afmacro (without the s). So quite logically Affinity says it can't find anything to install best regards //Eva

Affinity Photo v 1.5.1.54 Windows 10.1 Macros are saved as *.afmacro files. But Macro Library only recognises *afmacros files. So a saved macro is not visible to Library - import macros. In fact, an *afmacro file is entirely invisible to A.P.. Adding the missing final "s" to the file name does not cure the problem as Affinity Photo then declares the renamed *macros file as having an "Unexpected Macros Format". A macro can be saved but not used again. I have 770 images files in need of a macro-driven batch job. Please tell me I don't have to do it manually, 770 times.
