  1. Just playing with the perspective option.
  2. I have tried the next step to completing my composite image by trying to hide the original stuffed animal from the original image. Here is what I have with just taking the original image, and used the inpainting of the fill option in the Edit Menu Then I masked in what parts I wanted visible.
  3. Chessington Surrey UK this morning. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. f1.8, 1/122, ISO 50. Just played around with a bit adjusting the intensity of the clouds in APver2

  6. Just playing with my imagination...
  7. I have been drawing acrobats for maybe 15 years now using different techniques and with quite a few different apps including the serif apps. I decided to go back to my old draw everything in greyscale layers then recolour and add more detail on top of that since i have never tried that in Photo on the iPad and went nicely.
  8. A little composing made with Affinity Photo from various sources, Pixabay, Pexel, and my own photos. Maybe it's too warm in the sea ...
  9. Just bought and installed affinity-photo-2.1.1 and used it to do some layer masking and develop persona for curves VERY Nice! This was captured with an 8 inch SCT telescope in Calabassas, CA over a 2 hour period last month using a Sony IMX294 camera sensor, stacked with DSS. Info about M17 from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omega_Nebula
  10. I brought this beautiful leaf home from a walk in the park and photographed it. The cropping and post-processing was done in Affinity Photo, the background textures I created with Filterforge. The leaf reminds us that despite everything autumn will soon arrive ...
  11. I've been checking out AI-generated art like Dall-E 2 and Midjourney, which I love. Its so dark and nightmarish. So I thought that I would do a kind of 'role reversal' in Affinity Photo and create an image in the style of AI-generated art...
  12. Just testing to see how many filters, adjustments, blend modes, etc I could use before crashing the latest Photo and Designer Betas. Couldn't!
  13. Hi Folks, I had some fun time animating a drawing I made when I was 40 years ago, when I was six years old. Animation was done in Moho Pro, but I happily used Affinity Photo for making all the cutouts and doing some stamping and tricks to make it work. And of course the great export persona (I might have used Affinity Designer for that tho, as flexible as the Affinity ecosystem is in just opening the same file with another Affinity app!)! Hope you like it!
  14. I liked the concept. I just added the text in the black ground and, I used the perspective tool. The picture was taken in Schoonhoven-NL.
  15. This morning on my walk I saw this relic on a dustbin and immediately took a picture of it with my smartphone. At home I released the shoe with the Pen tool in Affinity Photo and edited it extensively in black and white. It was a lot of fun and I discovered the pen for cropping.
  16. Amazing flying display even with our English weather
  17. The picture was taken by phone. I edited it a little bit in AP. I used Curves, Levels and Selective colour adjustment and, before I used a Sharpening macro by James Ritson. Below is the original one.
  18. Been listening to too much synthwave, thought it might be fun to mock up a fake retro movie poster!
  19. This is my first attempt at using Affinity Designer so I am open to suggestions from experienced users. In the 1950's, PinBall machines were becoming very popular but machines surviving from that time either have been restored or the art-work on the cabinets has faded to different colours. I took a photo and corrected the perspective in Affinity Photo then moved to Designer to create a new design that closely matches the original. It took a huge effort in researching paint colours, RAL and Hex codes, how colours fade with time and exposure to sunlight so the result is my best educated guess at what the original appeared in 1958. The photo is of an original machine, unrestored paintwork. My research on paints fading is that the original colours wer Green, Red and Yellow, nbow faded to Blue, Pink and pale Yellow. My machine is a Williams Soccer Kick-Off and it is an on-going restoration project - I needed a subject to train myself that produced something that was required. This Document is of the Back-Box left-side (seen in the photo). I have also created Documents for the other parts of the cabinet. I am using RAL colours to match the paints available from my chosen supplier of spray paints. To see the original you need to make the 'Original Design' Layer Visible. 20. This is my first image using brushes digitally painting in Affinity Photo 2. Portrait of a Chinese Economist Keyu Jin, froze an image of her appearing on an internet found video program called "The Agenda". This would be my attempt to use that reference for this image. The second image here "Welcome to Vector Country" was a simple thing testing Affinity Designer.
