  1. GFX Signature its a photomanipulation image , using diferents resources (Character render, textures, C4D, Fractals) Here my artworks using Affinity Photo
  2. Made sure I didnt already post these. All images were taken with a Canon 5DM4. This First Set was taken over mothers day. in Northern California by Discovery Bay. Sigma 70-200 sigma 24-105mm sigma 70-200 sigma 24-105 So 99.99% of the time I will never use an HDR filter too touch up my photography especially in commercial shoots like Realestate. buuuuuuut I gotta admit the tone mapping persona did a pretty good job here. so nicely. done Affinity team. My Client was very happy with the results, this home sold for $4.45million soo ya thats a feel good moment. all of these were done with Sigma 24-105 This was taken with the Sigma 70-200mm I used just the basic RAW editing profile for these images. All were taken by Sigma 24-105 this one belongs with the first real estate set.
  3. Everyone does a clock of some sort. . . . . .eventually.
  4. I am not a photographer so I don't have the equipment nor the setup to take good photographs to work with. Especially my random food pictures taken with my 170$ phone tend to end up looking so unflattering that I don't even want to share them with anyone because the colors are so bad, the food looks disgusting. I've been looking for ways to make these pictures look more appealing and am pretty proud of the outcome of this one. Of course, it's not even close to perfect and if anyone has any advice on editing low quality pictures, it would be much appreciated. Most editing tutorials start out with professional raw images, which I don't have and a lot of the techniques used come out different than expected, so it's been a tough journey that I fear will only ever end once I get a better phone or camera. Anyway, here's the before (left) and after (right):
  5. Here's my logo next to a Mavic Pro. I hope you like it! This was created with 98% Affinity Photo and 2% Paint.NET.
  6. And now for something completely different. A book cover.
  7. Back to the fantasy world of my imagination. . .and there be dragons.
  8. The Jaguar and butterflies are stock photos. The center is a model of the famous mayan sarcophagus cover. Photos of Mayan ceramics were used for the background. Xenon Galactic brushes at the top. Unfortunately, I had to make the shiny gold effect in PS as the Eye Candy plugin remains unsupported by Affinity. Affinity Photo is a wonderful software but it starts to slow way down when the file tops 400 MBs. Thumbnails are slow to update and just turning a layer on and off requires seconds to render. Working at 100% very difficult. Thanks for looking.
  9. I was bored during the flight to Madrid, so created some painting in APhoto using DAUB brushes made by Paolo. I was trying to get a similar effect on the sky as in some works of Joseph M.W. Turner's. I used CMYK translation of HKS-N colours and hope it will print nicely. I'm quite happy with it as I'm complete beginner in digital painting.
  10. I was testing brushes created by @paolo.limoncelli (blockers), @gagatka (bushes of love, fur & hair), and @Frankentoon. It ended up with a little fluffy ball on a steppe.
  11. Concept artwork and story that I have been working on. Using AP. (inspired by that very old 1960's Sci-Fi tv series called Doomwatch.) Can you guess whose forehead I have used for this photo art? Clue, he is a well known actor.
  12. All quiet in the garden just now; the dandelions are starting to seed. I've been waiting for one to practice on.
  13. A simple idea created with shapes and a paint brush.
  14. I received an apple pen as a Christmas gift from my sister last year and since I already had affinity installed, I decided to see what it could do. I’m familiar with photoshop but affinity is fairly new to me. I love portraits, and this is my first attempt at a digital drawing and just me playing around with brushes in affinity.
  15. BIOME Initiative Double whammy this week, just finished a technical composite using Affinity Photo. I have included a free wallpaper for most phones, enjoy. Please do not print, digital media consumption only.
  16. Some willows in Haldern, Germany, taken a month ago. Fujifilm X-T20 + Fujinon XF 18 – 55 mm , cheap (7,50 €) Neewer IR filter, 720 nm
  17. There was a time when I got stuck while doing this - I couldn't find how to create a particular effect without the need for using stock photos. Fortunately, someone in here was doing live streams on YouTube and was creating the exact same effect I was looking for with a smudge brush. So my humble thanks reach out to mattitFi who kindly told me how to do it.
  18. Thought that I might share my latest creation using Affinity Photo. (Amateur Spotlight series.)
  19. Hello, i'm taking part in a competition for making promotion poster for "Days Gone" game . Below is my work Hope you like it and keep fingers crossed! Base image: My poster:
  20. "Hell hath no fury. . ." seems a nice girl. This got really complicated as it developed - different layers with different blend modes & opacities. The problem with doing something like this is: when you want or need to merge certain layers they never merge as you expect them to; the layers never keep their individual properties but default to the highest setting and then the effect you had is gone. Time to undo and stop playing with fire!
  21. What a grand title! All day in the making and another "live" composite which steered its own course; I just went with it.
  22. Well, summer is coming and the holiday season too.
