  1. This is a paper quiz round based on the Wheel of fortune a British television game show for the next quiz night at my local indoor bowls club. Everything done in Aphoto apart from the border around the letters and blanks.
  2. Here's my latest upload and work in Affinity Photo! Please click the picture below and enjoy 2hrs of finest breakbeat alongside some coloring! Thanks for your precious time! @Team: Please add a button to flip the entire artboard in Photo not just single layers! Thanks <3

  4. I recently illustrated a Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly (Protographium marcellus) for my brother. He wanted a photo, which I did not have, so I decided to create an illustration for him instead. I used AD v2.31., but spent a lot of time in the Pixel Persona. I also made a few trips to Affinity Photo for a few features that AD does not support. Hope you like it.
  5. I have started a new photo composite of a scene in my fanfiction where the Denbroughs and their relatives pose together for a family photo on Halloween. This is a preview to see if I done ok on getting the characters into position and matching the right perspective. I wanted to get them into the right spot before starting to alter the lighting, and changing any colors. This is the closest image I could find that matches the basic look of the image: https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/happy-family-mother-father-children-costumes-1512368018 Here is the preview:
  6. Pizza1_DAP_Vegetables.afphotoI have been experimenting with Mediachance Dynamic Auto Painter Pro and seeing how its output can integrate into an Affinity Workflow. I processed an image from my DrawPlus X8 samples directory and painted a new image based on a vegetable collage. DAP allows an output in the form of a multilayered PSD file which will import into Affinity apps very well. So if you are interested in using this painting app with Affinity, then you can see that it will be a very useful addition to your creative library of apps. Here is an example of the output and an Affinity Photo file which I saved from the process for you to examine and see if it would be useful for you. There are three layers in the simplified Affinity Photo file based on the simplified PSD. You might like to experiment with them. Other painting styles are supported with quite a bias toward Van Gogh and Benson. Enjoy.
  7. With Affinity Photo created, Soft Sketch Macro from James Ritson, Daub paper as Drawing paper
  8. I have been a adobe user now affinity. here is 2 samples of me using the program. i only do basic stuff. I am a shooter not a big graphic person. these samples are overlays, watermark and adding a closed eye for a open on. love the program. Had to do some learning but its ok lolol copyright.
  9. Hi there 👋 This time I tried to recreate my old work with Blender. The challenge was not to use 3D programs, but only free images and AP of course! In the attachment, I have put the images used and also the Affinity Designer brush that I created to make the chain. To use it in AP create a curve in AD, assign the brush to it as a Stroke, and copy and paste in AF. From here you can change the chain's shape and thickness from the control panel - I haven't figured out how to create it directly in AF yet... 🤔 I hope you like it! Ciao e grazie Davide catena.afbrushes
  10. Hi guys, It's all right? 👋 This time I have something very simple: a cover for one of my pieces of music. A little touch of typography on top of a Pixabay image. Ciao e grazie! 👍 Davide
  11. Hi guys, is everything okay? 👍 I'm still here 😁... here's another photo composition with AF. All the images are from Pexel and I made a couple of things (the sheets and the clock) with Blender because I couldn't find any right images and the man with the umbrella was recolored because the image was black and white. I learned a lot while trying to solve the problems that came up every ten minutes...🤔 I hope you like it... I like it a lot! 😂 Ciao e grazie Davide
  12. Spent the day listening to lots of viking folk like Heilung, Wardruna, and A Tergo Lupi and got inspired. Couldn't think of a decent name for it Original image for comparison can be found here

  14. This was the original. I wasn’t commissioned to do this, I just thought it would be good practice to create something better. For the main image I generated a prompt using Playground AI. I then edited some details using Affinity Photo, adjusted the lighting and colors, added half-tone, and used some overlay textures. I think it's definitely more attention grabbing (lol)
  15. What a grand title for such a simple picture concept! All photo's sourced at Unsplash. Visualisation created using Affinity Photo.
  16. Geometric line art. The figure itself created in Affinity Designer, and the effects and background added in Affinity Photo.
  17. Made with symbols Affinity Photo V2. Text at the gear is “gears of life”.
  18. Designed some neuemorphic icons for the Affinity Suite in Designer. Inspired by @yeye's Affinity Designer icon on Dribbble. Hope you guys like it! I'd love some feedback or ideas! Affinity Designer Neue.afdesign Affinity Photo Neue.afdesign Affinity Publisher Neue 2.afdesign
  19. Not long ago, the last fish in my room died. So while looking at an empty fish tank, I suddenly made an image under the theme of "My Fish Friend." "My Fish Friend" speed art : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOFrRmOQlhg
  20. My brother bought a new place and requested I make him a poster on human evolution using the skulls. It took a while to research and decide what would work and to weed through alternative ways to present to timeline. The images were draw in AP and it was set up in Apub. The illustrations separately are on 15x15" canvases and the printed poster will be 12x18".
  21. Hi guys, this is another photocomposition test with AP. I tried to create something more dynamic... and why not, night-time 😎 All images are taken from Pexel. Ciao e grazie! 😀 Davide
  22. Hey guys! Here's what I do on Photo and/or Designer in combination with my fortnightly radio show WallPlugTuna on bbz.ru. Any feedback is welcome: https://odysee.com/@WallPlugTuna:1/WPT326:4 Thanks for your time!
  23. Couldn't think of a decent name. Been trying out a Photoshop tutorial and converting the techniques to Affinity Photo, had to do a bit of jerryrigging as there was one particular bit I wasn't sure how to replicate, but the result mostly worked! Anyway, this is the first attempt. Idea was to make it look like an old CRT monitor that you get in awesome 80's sci fi films. Original stock photo can be found here for comparison.
