Good morning everyone! I have recently purchased Affinity Designer and am using a printer that has a Xerox Iridesse sheetfed digital press and was wondering if anyone could tell me what colour profile I should select when designing for this machine? I'd also like to know what profile to use for a B2 Lithographic press as I sometimes use this method if I have jobs that require larger quantities? In the past I've never really been told or asked what I should use so have always used the default in Adobe and things have come out looking okay. However, if Im using the wrong profiles I'm sure things could look better than they already do from these wonderful bits of kit! If any printers or professionals could advise what you use in the UK for sheetfed digital and B2 lithographic work, Id be most appreciative! Many thanks, Lee Hayes

Updated to 1.8.6 after loading Big Sur on my iMac. The additional ICC profiles I have downloaded from Canon and Permajet for their papers and stored in Library>ColorSync>Profiles are not being picked up for Soft Proof although they do appear in the printer dialogs. Tried restarting both Affinity Photo and the computer to no avail. They will temporarily appear by opening an image which has a soft proof set for a particular paper but this disappears again when Affinity Photo is restarted.

I use an EPSON F570 for sublimation printing. I use custom color profiles and noticed that after upgrading to Big Sur and Affinity 1.8.6 my custom color profiles are no longer functioning properly. Whenever I print I have a bunch of the colors completely missing on the printout. It seems even though the color profile is listed in the Affinity print settings, it's not properly loading/recognizing the color profiles. Prior to the update everything was working perfectly and I've verified my configurations are correct. The only thing I've updated is the OS and the version of Affinity. I should also mention whenever I use the default color profiles (non custom), everything works as expected. The default color profiles are not acceptable for my use case as I need the custom profiles for accurate colors. I'm still digging into this problem to see if I can identify a workaround, but no luck so far. Please advise. DTGHDR_F570_Fabric100%PolyShirtLightGray_TextileQuality.icc

Hello, since the update to Big Sur I can no longer assign my own ICC profiles in the current beta version. This also applies to the current App Store version. The profiles are in User (and MacHD)>Library> ColorSync> Profiles. It works with APub and APhoto. Does anyone have the same problem or can confirm it?

Affinity designer 1.8.6 with Big Sur 1.1 no longer recognizes .icc files in the Colorsync / profiles folder. Cannot configure a PDF for the printer without the PSOcoated_v3 profile. With the old version everything worked fine. Thank you

Hi, I'm trying to install two CMYK clolour profiles. I am running the current Mac App Store version (1.8.6) on Big Sur 11.0.1. If I place the profiles in either user or computer library (/Library/ColorSync/Profiles), I do see them in ColorSync but not in Publisher. They are not listed in Settings. I have already re-started both Publisher and my Mac. Any Idea what I could do ?

Affinity Suite dont find Colorprofiles Anymore. Colorprofiles ar Library. But the Software dint find them

My color sync profiles (Library > ColorSync > Profiles) are no longer recognised under Big Sur in Affinity Designer.
