I've been searching all over the forums, and for answers on the net concerning disabling the Right-Click context menu, and find only a registry hack provided by MS dated back to 2012. I've tried it and it no longer works. In Designer and Windows, there's a shortcut command Click Right Mouse to Smooth Node. This is impossible due to Windows using this for context menus. Don't misunderstand, I'm a die-hard right-clicker (that a word? ) So disabling it totally on my system is something I would rather not do. Using Alt key allows for changing smooth node to sharp. So why not make it a toggle? Click on a Smooth curve to make it Sharp using Alt, then again using Alt to click on a Sharp node should change it to a Smooth. Right Mouse button (right-click) on Windows is nonsense. Windows has already commanded control over that, and apparently can not be changed. Is there a work-around, outside of clicking on the icon in the context toolbar, to changing Sharp nodes to Smooth?

Pen Tool Hint-RightMouse to Create a Straight Line
Ron P. posted a topic in V1 Bugs found on Windows
I just noticed in the Tool Hints, located in the Lower-left, shows a hint of using the RightMouse to create a straight line. However the RightMouse instead produces a popup menu. There is no mention, that I can find in the Help, of using the Right Mouse button for creating straight lines using the Pen tool. -
Hi, the UI text hint for elliptical stroke is quite misleading in multiple aspects (on Windows). All actions who involve right-mouse actually require both mouse keys (left and right, start with left) to work, and when finishing, first release left and the right mouse button. This requires insane Olympic level training and is almost impossible. When only pressing right-mouse, the context menu will occur, breaking the UI action. Adding right mouse button will actually deactivate constraining, and allowing to move x/y axis independently left+right mouse + shift will rotate and with other aspects are locked. You can always rotate. by only using left mouse or left and right mouse. there is much more, don't want to overload this post. I would recommend that affinity mods / devs try all all listed combinations on their own - it is a worrisome UI labyrinth to get lost forever.
