  1. My Presets do not appear when opening a new document. I have this problem often. Ekran_Kaydı_2021-02-11_02_12_22.mov
  2. It's been going on since before my current OS, Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7. I found it on Affinity Designer v1.8.6. It occurs in 1.9 Beta and *I* can be reproduce it.The New Document dialogue gives me a blank display of templates, but if I toggle with another set and return, it displays. This never happens in the initial request during a work-session. Only if I've created a file, worked with it and attempt to create another. I tried to replicate in 1.9 by creating a new document, creating a bunch of vector squares in the Designer Persona and then got waylaid for 30 minutes. I came back, remembered I'd been trying to repeat the issue so added a new document--same exact error as indicated in the screen video (attached). screenblank.mov
  3. Steps to reproduce Open any Affinity app Choose [File › New] Close the dialog or create a new document (does not matter which, as long as the dialog is gone) Switch to a different application Choose [File › New] again Expected Result The same dialog from before is shown. Actual Result The dialog pops up, but the thumbnails for the presets are invisible. They can be revealed by clicking in the area where they should be. This is what that looks like: link to screen capture. Environment macOS 11.1 Version 1.8.6 for all Affinity apps Notes I noticed this yesterday for the first time. I've been using 1.8.6 for a while. The latest macOS update was about a month ago.
  4. Description The presets in the New Document dialog disappear after the app loses focus Repro Steps Launch Designer Open the New Document dialog via File→Menu or pressing ⌘N and selecting one of your presets Close the New Document dialog by creating a new document, pressing Esc, or clicking its Close button Switch to another app using ⌘-Tab or the Dock Switch back to Designer and open the New Document dialog again Expected Behavior The existing presets are visible. Actual Behavior The "My Presets" area is empty unless you click one of the invisible presets or switch to another app and switch back. Reproduces Every time (Designer 1.8.6, MacOS 10.14.6)
  5. I've been noticing lately when I go to create a new document (CMD+N) that quite often (more than 50% of the time) the presents gallery is empty (see image). If I switch tabs (say from Web to Photo) the presets will display as expected, and the issue appears to be related to the initial display of the dialogue (each time it's used). I'm using Affinity Designer 1.8.6 for macOS.
  6. When starting a new document I'm often faced with a blank window - no icons for all the page sizes. If I scroll down, then the icons are back. The next time I start a new document, the icons are there. But after awhile when I try again, the window is blank again.
