Hi there, I'm experiencing crashes in designer and photo since i accepted to update from 1.8.3 to 1.8.6 upon app start. Nothing in publisher which I did not update yet. config: macbook air mid 2013 MacOS 10.13.6. I bought the 3 apps from the affinty store. It seems similar to this thread. Hello, when using the app on iPad Pro (12,9 Zoll, 4. Generation) it crashes at random intervals. Since I‘m currently using it mainly by drawing with the Pencil Tool the crashes happen when I draw with it. I have noticed crashes occur more often when I draw an especially long line. Shorter lines prevent more frequent crashing but even then the app eventually crashes. Since I always loose a ton of progress in the process it is almost unusable working with the app like that. Since I have updated to the latest version of Designer (1.8.4), it keeps crashing all the time and it is really frustrating. Could anyone help, please. I am on a MacBook Pro Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013, with MAC OS Catalina 10.15.6 Here is the latest report I have after a crash: -
Hello, Affinity Designer crashes every-time I use the freehand vector brush tool with my Wacom tablet, sometimes I can draw for a few minutes before it crashes. Mac user: OS 10.15.6 (Latest Version) It also Crashed on the previous version. Affinity designer: 1.8.4 (latest version) Tablet: Wacom Intuous Pro M with the latest drivers (6.3.40-2) Any thoughts on how to fix this? Crash.mov -
I'm getting constant crashes now when using the pencil tool in Designer for mac newest update1.8.4. 1.8.3 did not do this. OS 10.11.6 don't blame it on the system. like I said it did not do this in 1.8.3. This is frustrating. Pleas fix ASAP! Thanks.

Hi there, When tracing the outline of a .jpeg file using the pencil tool, the app crashed after 8 or so lines. I reopened the app several times and the same issue occurred. I then created a new doc to transfer my work across but the same issue repeated itself there. Any suggestions greatly appreciated, Rob

I am running Affinity Designer 1.8.3 on a Mac OS 10.12 (Sierra). I am creating simple illustrations drawing with the pencil tool on top of a photograph. With the pencil tool, I like to use the stabilizer to make my lines smoother. As I am drawing, the program crashes on me regularly. I am having to save after every line or shape that I draw to avoid loosing my work. Sometimes I am able to work for 20 minutes without a crash, sometimes it crashes immediately upon opening my document or after I draw one line. Any advice on how get a more stable environment?

Hi there, been using the program for a few months now without an issue until today. no matter what I do, the issue persists. Currently I’ve saved and closed most other projects/pages in the app and restarted the iPad. attached is a video of a typical crash. Everything freezes until the app self closes. Most work between crashes is lost unless I manually save every minute. I’d be grateful for any help FullSizeRender.mov
