  1. Hi. Attempted to create a simple crest, made two objects. Now trying to add them together, getting result as follows: Affinity Designer file in question: crest-boolean-add-2-curves-fail.afdesign Thanks for explaining why the ADD boolean fails and perhaps a solution how to fix that inside designer, it happens to me quite often. Nothing like that ever happens to me in Inkscape, VectorStyler nor Illustrator. Edit: After reversing the direction of one of the curves boolean ADD works and the result is as expected. So I guess the thread can now be closed. FYI: Winding Mode was set to Alternate (Even-Odd).
  2. I am trying to take out the top and only the top of a square. I am doing a leather wallet and designing the pocket. As soon as I use the pen tool and creat my desired design I try to take out the top part of the square that I do not need. I have tried to divide the entire shape and then simple select the top part and cut it or delete it. Thinking that will do it and it won’t. Not sure what to do.
  3. When I perform intersection of following objects , I get bad result: windows 10 + affinity designer version: bug-intersection.afdesign
  4. Please see the attached video of the error using the "Add" operation. Screen Recording 2020-08-16 at 4.35.32 PM.mov
  5. Why is it that pathfinder behaves like that? I've already noticed some issues in previous builds. Pathfinder would behave strangely transforming sharp geometric shapes to approximative paths. Right now, with the latest version it gives me very strange results. And it is very very very annoying... Makes me re-open Illustrator for such basic things, what a pity. designer-pathfinder-issue.mov
