  1. Good evening i am texting a book of about 180 pages, texts and pictures. After a modification of the text the "Save" function is often not reliable. The modifications are often not saved. Only the "Save as" function is really reliable. This bug is new since the 2 latest updates of the program. Thanks for solving the problem My system: iMac 2013, Mac OS Mojave Version 10.14.6
  2. I haven't encountered it twice (yet) but in the interests of a heads up on a possible issue - I lost some work after Affinity accidentally closed (I'm not sure whether this was my fault or whether it crashed). When I re-entered the program there was no document recovery prompt, and the document in question was blank. Owing to the nature of the facility I wouldn't have anticipated it, but is clicking save at least once something that as a user I should have done to instigate the autosave function? If not then there may be an issue.. This is the latest update to Affinity Designer (1.8.2)
  3. Does anyone else has this issue? at 1.7 and prior, every time designer crashed, when open again it asked to restore the progress. It wasn't fully updated but the amount it auto saved was pretty decent. Which made me feel secure even if it crashed, it still had store a good bunch of work without me saving it. Since i updated to 1.8, Designer has crashed several times and when i reopen, it does not restore anything and i have to start working from scratch... which has made me constant hitting command+s every few seconds. This is not up to the standards i expect from serif. which makes me curious how broad is this issue, and what are the ways to fix it.
  4. An Issue occurs at times while working on a project in Designer on iPad and I switch to another app momentarily (eg Safari | Mail). When I try to return back to Designer, the app is restarted and my latest amendments are lost. This never happened in 1.7.x.
