  1. Procedure to reproduce the problem: 1. copy an artboard. 2. create a new document. 3. paste the artboard into the new document and deselect it. 4. Use artboard tool to create new artboard. Then you get this error "Artboards can not be added to a document with master pages or multiple pages" This topic may be related to this issue.
  2. Designer beta 1.9.0.852, Windows 10. I have a document on which I was unable to use the Art Board tool. I deleted all the contents and it seemed to be just a blank sheet, as expected. However, I still can't get the Art Board tool to work. Please see attachment. Art_board_problem.afdesign
  3. Recipe: Create a designer document, and add an artboard. Create another designer document, with a canvas rather than an artboard. Don't add anything to this canvas. Select and copy the artboard from (1). Try to paste the artboard into (2). Results: Something seems to paste, and document (2) ends up with an empty bounding box the size of the copied artboard. However, the Layers panel remains empty. Extra bonus: Now, choose the Artboard Tool, and try to draw an artboard. You get an error message stating: Happens in both 1.8.0.585 and 1.8.1.610.
