  1. I know I must be going mad, but I want to change various document fields like author, title, etc., and I believe they are supposed to be in View>Studio>Fields, but I can't see Fields listed! Can someone please put me out my misery here? Thank you.
  2. When 'saving as' or using a previous document as a template the original metadata is carried over and the title is not updated from the new document filename. Is there a way around this other than manually editing every new reused publisher file. Also is there an option to have static content - copyright, author etc? Thanks, Paul
  3. Big problem: I'm an art director, graphic artist, illustrator. I work in layered images with Affinity Photo, having ended my many years using Photoshop. I'm enjoying the new Affinity software, but I am experiencing what seems to be a major flaw with Affinity Photo. 1: If I begin a new project by opening an existing file (let's say, "Blue_10.afphoto"), I often do a "Save As", and in doing so I rename the file (let's say, renamed as "Green_20.afphoto") because the work I am about to do is to be a completely new version based on that original. 2: After completing my new multi-layered image, and saving the final (still as "Green_20.afphoto"), 3: I then save a flattened version of the file, using the same name but with the addition of "flt" (i.e., the flattened file is now called "Green_20_flt.afphoto". 4: Subsequently, and still in Affinity Photo, I export that flattened file as a jpeg, and now the jpeg file exists as "Green_20_flt.jpg". I now have the three files (two .afphoto files and one .jpg file) on my Mac, and all seems fine, each with the correct name and file type. 5: I noticed the following problem when I uploaded jpeg files to my online Flickr account. The files upload, but the titles are often totally wrong (in this example, possibly the name of the old original defunct file "Blue_10.afphoto". The title is not only totally incorrect, but I now have to double-check each and every image exported from Photo before sending, uploading or delivering to avoid major mistakes or embarrassment if not caught and corrected. Please tell me there's a fix for this. I have never had such a problem before. Thanks, anyone.
  4. When starting with a new document, saved as e.g. "dog.afdesign", the document properties > title of an exported pdf file is set automatically to "dog". Changing the document name to e.g. "cat.afdesign" doesn't change the document properties > title to "cat", as expected. It remains "dog" forever.
  5. Hello When exporting a pdf, publisher adds my name and the afpub-filename as title (not pdf file name) in the metadata. But when I change the afpub-filename the title doesn't change with a new export, instead it still uses the old file name.
  6. I made a document in Affinity Publisher and I produced a PDF. Ah! I made a spelling mistake in the file name of the .afpub file and it has gone through as the PDF file name. So, save the .afpub file under the correct spelling using Save As, delete the PDF and export a new PDF. Oh dear! In Document Properties in Adobe Reader, the title still has the misspelled name, even though the file name is fine. So, delete the PDF, then View Studio Fields and change the name of the Title field. For the avoidance of doubt this was not the Subject field and I had spelled the subject of the PDF correctly so no problem there. Is this a bug? If one uses Save As, should the title field be changed to the new name automatically? William
