  2. Posting a video, it is self explanatory, can't seem to find why the slider does nothing on any of the layers shown. That said, if I create a new Text layer for example, the opacity slider of that one will work. Not clear why this current example seems to do anything. (Blending mode do work but can't modulate it). EDIT: my bad, was selecting the 'brushes' opacity for the layer's opacity. However the fill's opacity doesn't seem to work. Screen Recording 2021-10-29 at 11.23.53 AM.mov
  3. Hi, I have a question about the opacity of objects in Affinity Photo. The attached screenshot shows all the layers of a test file. There are no adjustments or effects set. Every layer is set to 100% opacity and Normal blend mode. The ellipse was added last and moved to the bottom layer. But as you will see, the rectangle (red) and pixel layer (green) are not 100% opaque. I am wondering what I have missed in trying to make them so. Many thanks for any answers, Geof
  4. Note: While I posted this to the feedback for Designer forum, it applies to all the apps (& I consider it more of a bug than a missing feature). The icon does not appear to the right of a layer's name in the Layers panel if none of the layer effects are enabled. That's fine if the Layer Effects Fill Opacity is set to 100%, but since it still affects the opacity of the layer if it is not, the icon should appear next to the layer name if the fill opacity is set to <100%. Alternately, the layer panel Opacity value should be linked to the Layer Effects Fill Opacity in the same way it is for adjustments so we can see what the layer's opacity is without having to select the layer & open the Layer Effects window.
