  1. Hi there! Two small things slow me down when working with Affinity heavily: 1. The swatches sidebar defaults to the first swatch, but I always use the same one. If I close all open windows, then open a new one, Affinity switches to the first swatch, which is not the one I want to use. Is there a way to set the default or move mine so its at the top of the list? 2. When I close a file in Affinity, it jumps to the first one in the tab list. I seem to remember it used to do the opposite. Is there a way to switch it back? These would be huge time savers! Thanks!
  2. I am having a problem with setting a default swatches palette. I don't think it is an AP problem I think it is probably my understanding of how defaults work ....... When AP opens it always opens withe Black and White swatches displayed. I have my own swatches palette that I use that combines Back and White and Colours in a single palette. I have imported this as an application palette. So can I get AP to open with this in place instead of my having to select it from the dropdown every time? I have tried setting this palette as default for RGB8 which what I work in most of the time. This changes nothing - presumably because until an RGB8 document is open it has nothing to which it can default. But if I open a new RGB8 document I still have to manually select the palette. So what does "default" mean here and how should I implement it? Apologies if I am being seriously dumb ............
