Every Sunday I open a set of six jpeg or tiff files (it doesn’t matter what format). Regardless of the order I select them (hey are all in the same subfolder), they open in random order, never the same from one week to another. The names of the files contain the dates they were created - from Monday to Saturday, for example today is November 15th, so the filename contains the following: 201115, etc. That way I know the order of opened files is random and different from one week to another, even if I select them in the same order or not. I am not sure if this topic has been covered before. I really love Affinity Photo. In my opinion it is superior to photoshop in many aspects, at least when compared to CS5 since that was the last photoshop I used to use before switching to APh. But there is one thing about APh that is kind of annoying. When I highlight a group of images I want to open at the same time APh always opens and orders them in the tabs according to their files sizes and not the order they are arranged in according to their alphanumeric names. ... At least to me. Here's the situation, I'm resizing the canvases of a comic I've scanned in. It's going to be about 50 pages. So to save time with open-change-save-close-open next file routine, I'm just opening 10 files at once. So far Both Affinity Photo & Design handles this very well. No real slowdowns or odd behavior (using the current MAS versions, not the betas for this). The oddness begins after AP opens files. I have the files named in a sequence: QS no 1 pg 01, QS no 1 pg 02 ... QS no 1 pg 50. So the first ten files are opened. And the order that the files are in the
