This one drives me nuts. When the frame text tool is selected, I cannot zoom in on the page using Command +. I can zoom out using Command -, but it doesn't work the other way around. Both commands work fine when the move tool is selected. I'm sure it's just a bug, but this is something I use a lot and it drives me crazy.

I'm using Affinity Designer 1.8.3 on Mac (Catalina). When I'm editing type I can zoom out while typing, but I can't zoom back in. I have to click out of typing mode to zoom back in.

The previous bug report on this issue (reported by @Bobbie) from the 1.7 era was closed. As the issue still exists in Publisher 1.8.3 (and I am on macOS 10.14.3), I am starting a new report. I encounter this bug rather frequently in day-to-day work. When in text mode, using the ⌘+ shortcut to zoom in does not work. It simply triggers the system alert sound. Note that this is the + key on the "regular" part of the keyboard, not the + key in the num pad of an extended keyboard, which does work. Note also that the corresponding zoom out shortcut does work in text mode. Here's a little video that demonstrates. I included the keyboard viewer so you could see which keys I was pressing. Note that the + key is really the = key; to type a plus, the shift modifier is necessary, unlike the minus (or actually, the hyphen). I think that is probably the key to the issue. However, in virtually all apps where these shortcuts are implemented, the zoom in shortcut is notated as ⌘+ rather than ⌘=, even though shift is not required. That is also true in Publisher when not in text mode, which is what I demonstrate at the very beginning and end of the video. zoom in shortcut.mov
