  1. I bought Affinity, but I have a suggestion: Make it available on Persona Reveal Reveal (Develop) the possibility of saving the adjustments we made to the photos, as in Photoshop's CameraRaw (save file XMP). So, every time I open the same photo, I can review or modify the settings instead of having to start the adjustments from scratch as it is today. Here is the suggestion! Hugs,
  2. Similar to this: The idea is to add a setting panel for colors that allow to edit the color of gradients, and objects in general, simultaneously or singular Adding other options for the settings, as saturation or brightness Most important for SVG format files
  3. When applying a gradient onto a fill layer, and you have accepted the adjustment and the gradient tool closes. Is it possible to reopen or select the gradient that has been applied to allow for further adjustment. As I am progressing through an edit I sometimes want to come back to the fill layer with the gradient applied and want adjust. At the moment I am deleting the original layer and re-adding. I am sure I am missing something obvious here. grateful for any help. i am using both the desktop and iPad versions.
  4. Hi, Downloaded the Beta of Affinity Photo to check if the crop tool was fixed but unfortunately not! When I try to crop an image the crop is far above and beneath the image and I have to scroll up and adjust and scroll down and adjust and this for every image I have to crop. In the old version of Affinity Photo this worked perfect and the crop tool was placed at the top and bottom image border like it should. How long do we have to wait to get this fixed or is this going to stay? Don't understand the idea behind it! It's just a bad work flow! Regards, David
  5. Hi, I’m not sure what to call this. I want to adjust the colour and brightness in multiple objects but change them respectively so if you start with different colour you end with different colours. There are attached images to help explain what I mean. Thanks for any help
  6. I would like the ability to go back and adjust or edit a gradient after applying it. Currently we must redraw a new gradient.
  7. It would be nice to be able to change the line properties of more then one objekt(/layer) at the time. Say you have twenty different geometry objects (causing twenty layers) and want to set the line width to the same value or change the line style of all to the same, you normally would select all layers and adjust the settings. Currently it's not possible in AP; I have to select and ajdust every layer one after another. One solution is to grup the layers, but in some cases this won't work; e.g. when they are already grouped with ather layers which have their own styles (e.g. rectangle with outline/no fill and text layer with fill but no outline). Changing color instead works for all in one go.
  8. I have unsuccessfully searched for the easy way to match the color, tone and saturation of two images or selections to, for example, replacing a face. That is to say that PS does from the menu: image: match image. What do you think of the idea. Is there something similar in Affinity? I'm sorry I do not speak English and I use the Google translator. Regards
  9. Hi I want to overlay a photo with a grid so I can use it as a reference for a pencil drawing I'm planning to do. I know there's a grid option, but can't find a way of resizing the squares to the desired size. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
  10. Hello Mask was created from black and white image I want to erase white edges by adjusting mask boundaries I want you to tell me a good way Thank you 4691.afphoto
  11. I have a B&W pixel layer that I have converted to a mask layer and put inside a live adjustment layer. I decided that I want to boost the contrast of the mask after I had put it into the live adjustment layer. How do I do that? Preferably non-destructively such as adding the Levels adjustment to the mask for more control. If not possible I'm still happy with a destructive method too. In Photoshop I just ALT+CLICK on the mask to make it active and then CTRL+L to adjust the Levels of the mask.
  12. Is there a way to adjust a selection? For instance, I may try to draw a circle around an image of a circle, but not get it quite right, only to find that I can't adjust it after the selection is drawn...causing me to have to keep trying to draw it perfectly and wasting a ton of time.
  13. Hey guys, I'm fairly new to Affinity and was wondering if there is a way to crop or mask a selection slightly less than the actual selection itself. What I mean is, when you mask a shape, it leaves a slight layer of the background pixels on your cropped image. I have tried to 'refine' this, however, this does not work effectively enough. Just looking for something which will save me going around the entire image with a small eraser. Thanks very much, Ash
  14. I find the UI in Affinity needs work. For instance, when pull up the "Soft Proof" dialogue and can flip through previews of the various settings, but I have to click each one, instead of being able to up and down arrow through them. That's very time-consuming and unnecessary. The same thing applies to the crop tool in Photo, where you can see a preview of the cut, but you cannot fine-tune adjust it's placement with the keyboard. I would like to be able to "nudge" the box where I need to.
  15. I wish there is a possibility to adjust the width of a brush by pushing maybe alt-cmd +klick. A virtual circle shows the new diameter of width ... you are done. No fine tuning on the width tool again and again!
  16. Posted this in the beta section but it probably belongs here... --------------- Hey team, I've been working a lot more lately in Designer for client work and I'm wondering if any progress is being made as far as node manipulation? Specifically scaling or rotating a group of selected nodes. This is a pretty critical operation I find I'm constantly coming up against. Right now I can move selected nodes, but I can't rotate or scale them because rotate and scale don't have a keystroke assigned workflow. Going hand in hand with this is some way to define a point of rotation or scaling. There was some earlier discussion on maybe developing such a workflow, any news on this? Thanks and great job on the last few rounds of betas! The app is feeling really comfortable :)
  17. It would be wonderful if you could select individual curve adjustments points, and adjust them accordingly to the keyboard arrow keys.
