  1. Bringing back this discussion from V1 feedback. TLDR: RightMouse as a Modifier is difficult and confusing, and sometimes impossible. (Specifically Double Click + RightMouse is impossible) We should be able to remap the RightMouse Modifier (not including the right click menu) to any key just like the custom keyboard shortcuts. In fact, I think we should be able to remap every modifier key. This is a huge difficulty for the Ellipse Gradient Tool. I was just trying to do Ctrl+Right Click but didnt realize I also had to left click. Once you know the rule the tooltip makes sense but I was veryconfused for about 10 minutes of searching not understanding why it wouldn't work. Also, I think Double Click + Right Click (to reset fill scale) might actually be impossible.. Please just let us customize the modifier keys in settings 😭
  2. What are your best ideas for making the Apple desktop version of Designer V2 easier to see? Running Ventura 13.1 OS. Thank you in advance!
  3. I checked the specs of this new version of Publisher. There are many nice features in there. What seems to be missing is the export of a tagged and accessible PDF (PDF/UA). Also I don't see how I could publish a digital book (EPUB3) with this app. I really hoped for some competition for Adobe InDesign which is capable of such output. Even Word produces such accessible PDFs and EPUB (with WordToEpub plugin). With the output of Publisher still focused on print only I don't have many reasons to use it. All digital documents for governmental institutions and, within a few years in the EU, for many commercial companies as well, need to be accessible. Besides, I don't want to exclude anyone from using my documents. I don't mind if I need to do some extra work with a tool like Adobe Acrobat for PDF or Sigil, Calibre, Ace by Daisy for EPUB3, but now I need Word, InDesign or some other app to create the document or book when I really would have liked to use Affinity Publisher.
  4. Total noob, just getting started. Using Designer on Windows laptop and I want to enlarge the screen fonts and tools. I searched help and read: To change the UI font size: Choose Affinity Designer>Preferences. Choose Edit>Preferences. Click the User Interface label. For Font UI Size, choose either Default or Large. See screenshot - that option is missing. Thanks.
  5. I've found references confirming that Tagged PDF support is not currently available within Publisher. I'd like to know if these feature is on your roadmap and if so when you expect to be adding it. Tagged PDFs are very important for producing accessible content, which is an important consideration when producing items for sale. I was very excited to be learning this suite until I learned that I'm not going to be able to use it for my publications. Please respond to let me know the status of adding this feature so that I can plan accordingly. Shawn
  6. So I posted another topic earlier, and then thought I was being obtuse, so I deleted it. Well, I was only being somewhat obtuse. My issue was that part of the Studio panels in Affinity Publisher (v1.8.3) were spilling off the screen (as in I could not access part of the window because it was too low on the screen). I forgot that I had changed the screen resolution so that the text on my Mac (running macOS Catalina (10.15.4)) would be bigger. So I tried switching back to the smaller text (i.e., higher resolution) in order to re-size the "Text Frame" panel like I had done with the "Layers" panel, but I discovered I couldn't do that with the "Text Frame" panel. So that seems a little bit like a bug, but the other thing is, I think it would help to make the software more accessible if the program recognized the altered resolution on the computer and adjusted for it.
