  1. Opening an existing image in AP shows a quite small window with my chosen image in it. Why does the windows open so small and not open to fill the whole space (see 2 images - What I get and What I want), it is tedious to rejig every image file I open in AP. Even if I save the image file in the size I wish it to open, it does not.
  2. Hi. I like to have a shortcut available to reset rotation since it happened many times to me , i design mostly with my MacBook pro on the go, (thanks to your software i can even get work done on my girlfriend's base model 12 inch, god bless you guys for that.) and i rotate the screen accidentally , i'd like a fox for that. i know a bit about US so i suggest 3 ways to approach this issue: 1. Tiny Pop Up button on the side of the screen, to appear whenever the the screen is not adjusted. (this doesn't have to be on AP since thats mostly work done on photo but on the other hand, for experience consistency i would suggest that to be tried at least.) 2. pop up button available on touch bar whenever canvas is rotated. 3. keyboard shortcut. Thanks guys

  4. I took a lot of photos over the weekend in an indoor setting I didn't have speedlights or good internal lighting so a lot of the photos have light coming in from the windows as well as from the tungsten lights overhead I've tried playing around with the exposure, blackpoint, brightness, shadows and highlights settings in the develop persona but I am unable to balance out the exposure of the whole photo so that I can preserve the detail of thw windows as well as the interior How can I achieve this? I can't share the actual photos since it was a private function I'm working with RAW files
  5. Hello, several images are opened only the active image will be shown in menu / window. For example image1, image2 and image3 are opened and image2 is active. Only image2 will be displayed under menu/window.
  6. In AD, when exporting through the Export persona, the replace dialogue is quite small and often causes horizontal scroll. Since the checkboxes are all on the right side (which I find strange since on the Preferences and generally, on the web and other apps, they are on the left) it's hard to be sure if you're activating and deactivating the right files, as some part of the path might be hidden outside the scroll. If this window could be resized and keep the resized size between exports and between documents this would be great.
  7. In separated mode in Designer and Photo, is there a way to change the default window size to fill my monitor every time I open or create a new document? Currently it's opening or creating everything at 68.8% every time as a floating window in the upper left corner area... the floating part I expected but I'd ideally like it to fill my monitor every time. It's not a big deal but just one of those things that get's annoying on the 23rd time.
  8. Command-clicking on a document window's title text should show the filesystem path to the document in a drop-down menu (see attached). Choosing any location from the menu should open that location in the Finder, for quick access to other files in that location. This has been a system-wide Mac OS convention since the early '90s. You'll find it on just about every app that deals with documents, with the notable and disappointing exception of Affinity Designer. Apple documents the expected behavior here: https://developer.apple.com/library/content/documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/WinPanel/Tasks/SettingWindowTitle.html Though it may seem like an unimportant feature, it is second-nature to many Mac users, and every one of us who needs to locate an open Designer file in the Finder will be cursing Serif for the lack of this feature as they manually hunt around for the file. It's just not good business to annoy your users in this fashion when a much easier solution is practically given to you by the OS. Please remedy this as soon as possible.
  9. First of all thank you for decreasing the automatic docking area for undocked windows (even though I think it's to wide). So working with undocked windows can be tested and experienced now ;-) To be able to work effectively with undocked multiple documents it would be helpful to have an option for the windows to automatically adapt to the current document size. It's a huge hassle to resize the windows manually all the time and than center the document again to have the right position for the document again. This option would be of great help lfor the way I work with documents. Cheers, Timo
  10. This seemed like a bug at first, but I'm realizing it's more likely a candidate for a feature request. I opened Affinity Photo (Windows beta 1.5.038) and slid it to the right of my screen to get it out of the way of something I was looking at and then realized I couldn't move it back. 1) Please consider adding "grabbable" space above the menu that would allow the window to be moved back into position. 2) There likely also needs to be an option in the preferences that allows for the window to remember it's last position when closed for each file or at least for the app as a whole. 3) A hotkey for loading temporary default behavior (like a "safe mode") would also be helpful here. I managed to fix my problem by resizing the top left corner of the app wider until I got past the words in the menu where I could grab the titlebar, but not everyone is going to realize they can do that.
  11. Nothing too important but: The help window is behaving a bit unusual if using the windows shortcuts to move the window to a different screen. Two things to reproduce with 2 Screens. The first is: Open the Help-Window Press Windows-Key + Shift + Arrow Up Nothing happens, expected: scale window to full screen hight (Designer-Window does it if not maximized and with arrow down the opposit) The second: Open the Help-Window Maximize the Help-Window Press Windows-Key + Shift + Arrow Right 4 times (or 3 or 2 to see the difference) Disable maximize Window is out of visible area, expected: window should only move between the 2 displays
  12. With two or more drawings open, Ctrl Tab does nothing. In Preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts, there is no Windows menu to set commands to do this. Alt W, Drawing Number, access key shortcuts are a workaround, but why don't the default shortcuts of Ctrl Tab and Ctrl Shift Tab switch document tabs?
  13. Whereas around 'beta 5' the autosave of windows obviously got realized ( https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/93-remember-window-size/&p=649 ), now in beta 1.0.17644 I'd appreciate to develope this feature a bit more: a.) Save window/palette/pane * settings customizable (by name, date etc) – and b.) Consider palette positions for document window in Separate Mode. Designers often work with two monitors and use one to place the document, the other to place palettes. Therefore it would be helpful to be able to save customized window settings with customized saves for various usage. Additionally the Separated Mode / document window could like an improvement: Momentarily in Separated Mode with palettes cusomized arranged the/ a new document window a.) has a fixed size and position and b.) appears to ignore the customized palette setting. Also, once you hit the mac-system green button (upper left corner), it simply fills the screen – regardless any palette * window. * [ ps: "palette" – to avoid misunderstanding: I dont mean a color palette like in the swachtes pane but any pane/palette/parameter/options window. ]
