Hey Everyone, Here is a timelapse video of me creating a watercolor still life painting in Affinity designer. I had a lot of fun playing with the different brushes and testing the different capabilities of the software. Enjoy! Here is the video from start to finish: https://youtu.be/y6l6-wOOf2A Let me know what you think? Thanks, Mike- 8 replies

Is there a way to create time-lapse videos from our Affinity Designer iPad versions? I'm looking for something like what Procreate has. Thanks!

affinity photo Making a map in Affinity Photo (Timelapse)

I'm currently trying out the free trial of Affinity Photo and decided to spend the evening streaming - I thought it would make a neat timelapse! The one major thing that I couldn't figure out was text on a path. Really enjoying how easy it is to transition from 14 years of Photoshop. I am excited to see what else I can do with this! -

So I am trying to edit a star lapse I took by recording my macro then re applying it to a batch. However the results are way different when I do this. How come? I know the Macro is good because when I run it on just a single image it looks great. However when I run it as a part of a batch it doesnt even look the same. Whats the point of the batch processor if it doesn't work? I was really hoping to use affinity over Adobe products but its looking like for mass image editing nothing beats adobe. Might have to just suck up and pay to stupid monthly cloud subscription. ugh. Anyways the first image is my original macro ran on just a single image and then the image on the right is from the batch, and yes I used the same macro for both. One of my interests has been timelapses and recently I was able to try one out Now I've been looking for software for making timelapses but the various options I've seen are lacking in one way or the other. Which software would you recommend for creating timelapses? This is for Windows and free of course I need one that can give an output of 1080p and work with as many photos as possible, even 1500 Thank you Ps: I'm asking this because some time back a forum user recommended an excellent RAW converter software which I now use - so I'm thinking I can get the same help again

Hey everyone, it's been a while, but last week I've been working on and off on a Nissan Sunny B121 design. I had a lot of fun, so I thought I'd show it to you: I started off from a photo I got off of wikipedia. After vectorizing the main shape of the car, I decided to modify the design. I've been playing a lot of Auto Modellista (if you don't know the game and are into cars - check it out, it's a classic for the PS2) lately, so I decided to leave the car more cartoony and cell-shaded, instead of going for fully detailed design. I hope you like it and as usual below is the timelapse video. Thanks for stopping by! Timelapse Video (YouTube)

I've always wanted to do timelapses and I've done quite a few before - but in all of them I've shot in jpeg and without any editing I'm preparing to do a night timelapse of stars at one of our national parks Most guides on the internet recommend shooting in RAW so that I can get the best look from the stars and night sky But as users of Affinity Photo know - there's no way to do batch edits on RAW files using Affinity photo So can I get a good timelapse if I shoot in JPEG? Or should I shoot in RAW and spend days in editing the RAW files? (3 minutes per photo, 600 photos - that's 30 hours of total editing time) Any advice?
