  1. Hi! I just did a search of the group for this and nothing came up, so forgive me if this has been brought up before. I am wondering how you keep text layers editable editable after your document has been saved ... ? I have tried saving documents as PNG, PSD and .aphoto, but none of these formats seem to allow text layers to be editable once the document has been saved and then loaded back in to Affinity Photo afterward. Is this something that Affinity simply won't do, or should I used another format? Any information on how to do this would be helpful. Thanks!
  2. Hi Earlier today I had an issue with Publisher freezing when I was trying to draw a text frame. After trying a few different things i worked out that when the issue happened when I tried to draw the text frame over a picture frame. If I draw the text frame over an unoccupied area of the page I can then move it over the picture frame without any problems, but every time I tried to draw it directly over the picture frame I experienced the freeze. The picture frame was a sub-layer and I had the parent layer selected when drawing the text area. I have not come across this before, is it a known problem? Thanks Ian
  3. Hello, A have a plain coloured rectangle as the bases of my design. I want to add some text onto this layer but instead of the text being filled with a colour I would like the text to be transparent so that when I use the graphic the text will change colour depending on what it is layered above, is this possible? I find the simple things seem to be the hardest to do. #LovingAD Many thanks, Rob
  4. It would be awesome if double clicking on a Text layer would not only take you to the layer and select it, but also Select the contents of the text layer. This is one of those productivity boosters I use all the time. Instead of trying to click through layers with the Text tool, it's much quicker to do it through the Layer panel. I use this in Photoshop ALL the time. It's much easier than having to fiddle with the Text tool. Please consider adding this functionality. Thanks for all you do!
