Hi, I made an account specifically to request this as it's a very important feature to me, and currently the only thing tying me to Adobe. I work with 3d models and textures a lot. As such, I spend a lot of time creating and editing files in the .dds file format. Too much time to go out and externally convert the files each time I want to make a change. Photoshop doesn't have native support for this file format either but there are a couple of plugins that allow the usage of it. Namely the one from intel and two from nvidia. I know affinity photo does have photoshop plugin support but everything that I've seen points to Affinity Photo not supporting these specific plugins so I was wondering. Would it be at all possible for .dds support to be added at some point, and if not natively. Would it be possible to get any of these plugins to work. Ultimately I like the look of Affinity photo but I just cant use it without this file format being available unfortunately.

Hi, i am interested in buying the new 1.7 version. As far as i understood what the forums say, i can update to 1.8, 1.9 for free but not to the 2.0. I am new, so I don't know if there are a limit of updates or there is a sequence or something. For example, if I start with the 1.9, i'll get the major release which is the 2.0 and up to 4 minor releases (2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4), 5 updates in total. So my questions are: How long does a minor update take to release? Is there any limit of how many updates I can receive? What will happen until 1.9 if I start with 1.7? -
want to purchase the iPad version of Affinity Photo for a friend but I do not own an iPad myself. It would be a positive feature to allow existing enthusiastic users to purchase without having to download immediately to our devices. It will probably expand your business too. Win, win, win! My trial is ending soon, and a I received an email offering a special price to purchase. However when I click through to the website the prices shown are higher than what was advertised on the email. I replied to the email but have not heard from anyone. Where can I get help on this please? I'm ready to purchase at the emailed price, as it would allow me to get Affinity Photo as well as Affinity Designer, which would be so awesome for me! I would love to be contacted by support staff to rectify this... hoping there is such a thing as this seems like great software. Thanks -
Hello, I purchased all the Affinity programs through the Microsoft store but none of the product keys show when I log into Serif. I tried to register the programs and the system gives me an error. I wanted to register the software so I had a record of it in case my computer crashed. Could someone please update me on how to go about doing this? -
Hey all, After the last update of Affinity Designer and Photo on Ipad, application gave me possibilities to download free stuff like ARTISTA AFFINITY DESIGNER Brushes, Dust Brushes & Overlays and other. But when I launch the download, it's stopping after some pourcent. Is there any thing that I've missed ? (except learning english ) Cheers, Mick -

My question relates to the purchased version of the program, because according to various speculations on various sites, people who have purchased the program from 1.xx will have to buy again if they want to use version 2.xx. I would like to know the answer to this, because if it is true, I would wait until version 2.xx with the purchase. Thankyou for your answer. -

I bought 02 product (affinity designer + photo) from my personal account created by the address X@gmail.com and on May 13th ..I paid a friend to buy the third product which is the affinity publisher from his account created by another address which is: Y@gmail.com and now I am the owner of 03 software licenses (designer + photo + publisher) by 02 accounts !!! (my account + my friend's account) .... Is it legal to have 03 software by 02 accounts ! thank you -
I purchased Affinity Photo about 3 months ago (I think) and I have been very happy with it. I have recently started trialing the Designer and Publisher software when the 90 day free trial was launched. However, when I open the software it now tells me I have 10 days left on my trial? Is there an issue? Secondly, like millions of people the virus situation has completely wiped out my income, and I am not eligible for any government support. So, the recent promotion by Affinity of the software at 50% of the normal price has been really attractive to me. I want to purchase it, however, I am trying to postpone my purchase towards the end of the trial because every penny counts right now. So, I was wondering if anyone on the Affinity team could let me know when this offer will end? Thank you. -

Hi I am wondering if it is possible to purchase PDF version of the various Affinity Work Books? (I did a search here in the forum and did not find any mention of it.) I ask as it would be nice to have the pdf open on one screen while going through the material in the Affinity software on the other screen. Thank you! -

Hi, This is regarding licensing both Affinity (Designer & Photo) software for my company. I wish to know the pricing pattern involved for multiple user (Volume) Licensing. We may required not more than '3'. I were unable to find the Cost involved for Volume Licensing for Business. If its for only one user, can I go ahead and purchase the Individual License. Hi there, I placed an order on November 27th for both the Affinity Photo Workbook and the Affinity Designer Workbook. At the time of ordering it stated that the the Designer Workbook was In Stock, but that Photo Workbook was Out of Stock and I would have to wait until December 21st for it to be dispatched. Yesterday I received the Photo Workbook, which completely surprised me, but I haven't received the Designer Workbook!?! I just wanted to check whether the Designer book had been sent or not and isn't lost in some postal limbo. Thank you for your time, Jonathan

Hello everyone, I am in the process of exploring Affinity Photo ( on day 2 of trial ), and so far, after initial frustrations, Im beginning to enjoy the potential. I do have a question though: at the point of purchase, is there an option to buy a physical copy, a disk, containing the programme, or is it all via digital download? Could I add it to a cd/dvd (or maybe a compact flash card/usb memory stick) to keep a hard copy? Or once purchase has been completed, is this software only accessed via an online account? Im new to purchasing software this way; I still prefer to buy software on a disk in a box with fancy designs Its nice to have a physical disk to keep hold of; but maybe Im just behind on the times. I pulled the trigger on Designer yesterday, but in my excitement (and inattention to detail on my phone) I purchased the Windows version, but I'm on a Mac. Can I swap the Windows license for a MacOS license? EDIT: Scratch that. Customer service refunded my purchase promptly and now I'm downloading the correct version. -
Hello guys Probably stupid question, but here I go: Is it possible to try latest 1.6.5 version with a couple days? I had trial back in 1.6.4 or 1.6.something, but it looks like performance have been improved since. I wish I could test it because Adobe really get on my nerves lately. Aleksander

Hi there, I purchased Affinity Designer in Jan-18, haven't use it for a while and today wanted to use it but it doesn't let me... The order number is ALMJ825BJ2... When I go to order history is empty and when I go to Downloads & Product Keys I can't find my order to download the only thing I find is Grade IU Kit to download, which I did but nothing changed... Anyone could help me, please!!!
