  1. Dear developers, I have ON1 Effects (older name: Perfect Effects). This app can work as plugin too for Photoshop and Lightroom too (as layer mode too). I added plugin folder (C:\Program Files\ON1\ON1 Effects 2018\Plug-in Files\ON1 Effects 2018.plugin) to Affinity Photo, but no worked. Please add this plugin support for Affinity programs! To 31st of Aug can download free now for testing too from here
  2. Greetings, Affinity Photo is now my main photo editing software. I also like to use ON1 Photo RAW 2017 for some features, especially the PHOTO FILE MANAGEMENT system. ( or Digital Asset Management ) Whenever I tell ON1 Photo RAW 2017 to edit the image in affinity photo, it opens the image in affinity photo brilliantly. However, I am having trouble understanding what happens when I exit Affinity Photo to go back to ON1 Photo RAW 2017. How can I keep the original and the edited file on the same folder in a way that makes sense? Since ON1 Photo RAW 2017 doesn't recognize .afphoto format, it won't display it in the ON1 Photo RAW 2017 file browser/organizer. Is anyone here using this same combination? What is your workflow like when working from one of these apps to the other? Especially when keeping everything non-destructive. Cheers! William
  3. I am a happy user of AP. The only thing not allowing me to stop using Photoshop is the plugin functionality. Is there any information when we can expect plugins to work, at least Nik collection, Topaz and Macphun. For me some of the Topaz plugin works but only once if I try them twice they will crash, also for the NIK some work some do not (and there seems to be a color difference from what I see within the plugin and the result being sent in to AP). I wish for on1 plugins but that may be more difficult if I understand correctly, but on a positive note the claim on their blog the they do not work with AP at the moment - maybe that will change. Bottom line, does anyone now the status of plugin support?
  4. I am trying to replace PhotoShop with Affinity and would love to be able to utilize the same programs as plug-ins in Affinity. Is there any list of what does work, and what will be working within Affinity? I have up-graded to Yosemite from Lion on my MAC Mini, so ther are a lot of things I need to upgrade and up-date and I am hoping Affinity is one of them. Michael McGuire, Atlanta GA
  5. I just noted that on the on1 blog ( mention Affinity Photo and that it is not compatible (yet). Apparently many people have contacted them about this (inluding me). Those interested in On1 making their plugins work with AP should maybe head over and leave a comment in support of this.
  6. I know I'm very late to this party. I only "need" 1 thing in Affinity photo. Because of a specific need within a project I'm involved in, Genuine Fractals image enlargement within Affinity would be great. I purchased On1's Perfect Photo Suite 9 for this single feature, and that software is a real dog. I use the resize feature, export and save, and do eveything else in Affinity Photo. I have used Photoshop since v.2 (before layers!), but am happy to move on to something more modern, and I believe Affinity Photo is the door to a new day.
