Hi, My questions are perhaps not all directly linked to AP but I think I could find good answers from this community. I usually tend to wait for some time before I update to new software versions, so.... 1) Can Affinity Photo benefit from the new feature Metal of El Capitano? Any REAL speed increase? Anu problems? 2) I'm printing with an Epson Stylus 3800 Pro. Does it work with El Capitano? Anyone having experience? There are mixed opinions on the Internet. 3) good reasons for NOT updating to El Capitano? Please tell me. Should I stick to the rule that when something works, don't change it!

AD and AP are already quick, but I was wondering if utilizing Metal would give any speed improvements. If so, are you guys planning to do this?

After watching the WWDC and seeing how Adobe expects to improve performance by using Metal, I was curious if Serif is currently using it or if it is planning to? AD is already pretty performant, but if I could squeeze more battery life when I'm away from the wall, I would be much obliged :)

Just curious, given that a lot of people are saying that Metal is supposed to supplant openGL in the Mac OS--should this be true--how, if at all, does this programming change affect Affinity? Given that we've seen Designer run on an iPad, my first reaction would be to say "not at all." but I am curious as I--and many others--are, as they say, all in. As always, thank you for listening.
