  1. There are lines on borders of shapes. There is no stroke on objects. I know that I can turn off anti-aliasing, but then shapes are rough. These lines are visible even after exporting to raster or vector. I had this problem even in V1. I didn't find on Forum other solution than anti-aliasing. Is there any way to get rid of these lines without manually cover tens of these coffee beans by other whole shapes? (It is a pattern so I can't use whole beans. I can't add them together too, because most of them disappearing.) It is really annoying...
  2. This may be a very simple question, but how do I join these two shapes so that I can fill #1, #2, and #3 with different colors/swatches? Thanks, Peter
  3. I was wondering why a fairly simple task: creating a [fairly] simple geometric icon, was giving me alignment issues between compound shapes. Unfortunately, it looks like I’ve found another bug. Ive recreated the issue in a new document. Circle over circle Remove small from large (creates donut-esque shape) Pen tool > shape intersects over donut Intersect as compound vs intersect as join, moves the geometry points when using compound. See video screen capture … I’m off to back to Adobe Illustrator, regretfully. But CS6 keeps my compounds aligned and true. I need my accuracy. I hope I’m doing something stupid, but the issue is easy to recreate. File is available, on demand. Screen Recording 2021-05-15 at 7.14.50 PM.mov
  4. Hi can you possibly tell me why I have part of my background showing through on this dove in Affinity. If you look at the wing of the dove, the blue background is showing through in a really weird way. I know how to get rid of the pencil line (please ignore the pencil), but the blue on the wing from the background is really baffling me because it's not part of the group, and it's further down the layer chain as the background. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the endpoint on the wing attaching itself to another part of the dove. I've tried breaking the endpoint to make sure there's no join, and also tried to make sure that while the bird is a group layer, it's attached correctly. Thanks.
  5. Hello, Can anyone tell me how to join/link two adjacent "closed curves/shapes" to create a third, separately fillable zone/curve? I have a lot to learn. I hope the attached imaged illustrates what I am trying to achieve. Many thanks, if you can help.
