i'm trying to get the free months trial, I've registered and the download email is not coming through, checked email this is correct. I've tried another pc with a different email address this is not coming through either? they are not in junk folder. -
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know that I started a YouTube channel that is dedicated to making Affinity Photo tutorials. I have 9 videos posted now, but will definitely be making more. So, here we go again. This was originally created over a year, thanks to Supervolting on here for bringing it back to my attention. I have reworked the tutorial and it's less than 5 now and simplified. It's a really cool way to show of your videos or pictures and a great way to see how you can work with other apps in your workflow by starting in Affinity... Enjoy... Hello from the other side! :) I am just working on a project of designing the candy bar packaging and since I'm too lazy to google, I created my own lo-fi mockup myself in AFD. Then I thought it'd be pity if I leave it just to myself. I'm thinking of buying both of these products, but I'm getting nervous since I was told that Designer will only have free updates for another year, and Photo will have Two years. I'm not sure what this means. Will I have to pay to get new features in a year? What's the plan? Will there be cheaper upgrade packs for previous users? Does it really make sense to even buy at all, or maybe just wait a year to prolong the update cycle? Any thoughts / knowledge on this topic would be appreciated. Thanks, ERK. -

my wife is a teacher. She often needs to crop or multiple crop regions from images for worksheets. She did it in Affinity by hand. Region by region. Then we discovered Export Persona and it took the workflow to a whole new level. And the there was the one image, where the regions we needed were like crooked pictures. To crop them, one still needs to crop it by hand and then turn them till the are in horizontal orientation. Would be cool to be able to rotate the slice frames and have them oriented automatically, horizontally or vertically, or in 90 deg. steps. Hm, perhaps a little to special:-) But who knows, maybe there are more people like me. This export persona thing has great potential ! By the way: thx for the cool software. -

Granted, I'm not a professional editor. If I purchased this app from Mac App Store at a price of $49.99, it would be a rip off. Nonetheless, I found the beta version is quite awesome. I mean I really enjoy trying some new features before the formal version to be released, even though this version is not stable. So, I wanna ask if I could use Affinity Designer Beta as a free version constantly. If this beta version end up, there will be a new beta version, right? And could I persistently use these up-to-date beta versions without additional charge? -
