  1. Hey everyone, with the all-knowing alternatives to Affinity Suite (and also numerous other unrelated apps/applications), right-clicking on the name of the currently open file in the file window/titlebar allows you to see the location (unless it's a new, unsaved document). In combination with the option »open recent« (which also only shows the file name but not the file path) or the touch bar, which as well displays the last X documents, this would be incredibly helpful. Because … you know … we creatives sometimes forget where the current file or the latest version was saved to. 😅 My next workaround would actually be »Save As…«, which – in other apps – usually can be used to make out the location of the currently opened file. But here too, Affinity Suite seems to have its own way of working, which is not really comprehensible to me, as it shows the location of the previous/last »Save as…« operation, which is rarely the location of the currently opened file. I would be happy if this small feature gets implemented in a future release. 😉 Greetings Dennis
  2. Hi, I was recently using the Publisher Beta and unfortunately, lost a bit of (thankfully simple!) work due to a disconnection with my work VPN. We use a VPN to access in-house servers, which has a fairly short timeout period. Whilst working on a Publisher file, the VPN disconnected. When I went to save my work, an error popped up saying that Publisher had lost access to the file (and linked files) and immediately closed. My work was gone and a shock on my face. Whilst common sense would propose saving frequently, is it silly to suggest a failsafe option of switching to the Save As menu when this happens? My project was using linked files, but surely there's a way around this for those accessing work files remotely? Thanks and keep up the great work! Levi
  3. If I open AD, then open a number of files, each file is shown in its own tab - excellent. If I select a .afdesign in Explorer, it opens as expected. However, no more files will open. Typically I want to open two (or more) files simultaneously from Explorer - I find it easier to use the Explorer interface than application interfaces (not just AD). In AD only the first file selected opens. I have to go into the AD instance and open any further files from inside the app. Since, as others have posted, the folder chosen by AD as its initial search location is not necessarily the last accessed folder (haven't tried to get my head around the logic here yet!) this operation can waste a lot (relative) of time. It certainly adds to the "melting ear wax" syndrome ;) It would also be nice if all working files could be closed in AD without closing the app. (cf CorelDraw!).
