This should support import/export of DrawPlus files, especially since DrawPlus was made by the same company. I can't currently open a .dpp file that I can in DrawPlus in any of the Affinity projects to carry them over.

Are Draw Persona and Pixel Persona optional modules for Affinity Photo ? I see these two items in the Affinity Designer Workbook but not in my Affinity Photo software. Thank you. -
Tool from illustrator (i used Cs4): allow to very quickly make a smooth shapes and lines after drawing the rough please see the attached pic. This is saving tons of time in making logos and complexed shapes also in caligraphy and illustration. very important tool, i very miss this. Thanks. Rotem.

Hi there, I bought Affinity today, realy impressive program on first look. But i think, it will be better for some photo upgrades, than painting. I using Paint Tool SAI, same price, easier for draw/paint, very quick with manage options of brush. I hope, Affinity will be much better, if take care on that. Affinity is can be small baby, what if grow up ...will it be maybe much better choice than Photoshop. Brush options are really great, but still looks too much sharp and irresponsive with underpaint. And one veeeeeery annoying thing, the cursor or brush shape there ...i was try to disable at the UI options and restart ...without changes. Best wishes to this project and kind regards Hex -

How do I get rid of the line inside of my objects that separates my outline from the filled area? What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help! MOOP.tiff -
Hey folks! I would like to know if there is a way to draw lines in Affinity Photo. With the Paint Brush Tool, there is a "continue last stroke" feature, but it's not really creating a line, since it paints over the last stroke when using lower opacities: Also, it's impossible to draw horizontal or vertical lines that way... Hey folks, I am in a situation where I wanted to correct an image. For this, I needed a tool to just paint one pixel in a certain color. When I selected the paint brush tool, changed width to 1px, opacity and hardness to 100%, Affinity Photo still created a "smooth dot". So my chosen color "black" became gray and had a few gradient pixels around it etc. example: How can I just draw a single pixel in a desired color? Thanks in advance and best regards! Rorando

Hey guys, I want to draw a double circle arrow for my origami tutorial ebook, I used ronniemcbride method to create the arrow head, then I create a circle and convert it to curve and cut it into half and duplicate it to become the double arrow circle, like below, but the arrow head is crooked, how do I make perfect double circle arrow? Hey guys, second time asking about this. Keyshort input isn't working to setup "deselect" in Designer draw mode. I am attempting to setup a command-shift-a keyshort to deselect in draw mode designer. I am able to input the keyshort but it doesn't work. In fact the command-d keyshort default doesn't work either (only in pixel mode even though it is shown in the draw mode keyshort prefs window). Only the escape key seems to work to deselect and I'd prefer to stay with my 25 plus year muscle memory keyshort. Is this a bug or designed behaviour and if designed I'm wondering why have the ability to assign a keyshort and have it not work?

Hi. When I an using tablet and moving pen very slow, brush is moving but does not draw some distance, and then bang! and draw straight line from start to current brush position. Like choppy drawing. When using mouse all is great, and when i moving pen fast all is good and smooth too. Look at screenshots please, I made similar drawing in two programs on one computer and tablet.

I suggest the implementation of "INERTIA" settings in both "Affinity DESIGNER"(especially) and "Affinity PHOTO";Alike you can change the behavior of tools in Artrage. so your curves etc. smooth out while you draw. Just like you would apply more pressure to the tool, which would normally have the effect in reality of not being able to move so fast. (Would be much easier to draw specific curves...(sry4myenglish) -
Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the line inside the pie during the creation of the circle or ellipse? You know, like Serif Draw and CorelDRAW does. Thanks

This is a work in Progress. I not sure where I want to go with this or if I want to move further with it. The idea was to have him flight through a cloud. I kind of want it to be some what abstract. Thought any comments or ideas are welcome.

Hello, Coming from illustrator I am missing the little tool that lets me resize the drawing area exactly to my design. For example: I opened the drawing area as a A4 format but my draw is just a logo much smaller than A4. Can I resize the drawing are to exact the size from the logo and how do I do that. Thanks for the help. -
In a document with some "Draw personas" and some "Pixel personas" layers ( hm, what does "personas" stand for?) to me it appears to be difficult to select some objects by clicking on its visual in the documents page view. Yes, I can click through the "Layers" panel – but I wonder if I am doing any wrong when I try to select an(y) object just visually on its documents area view. –> Is it possible to achieve/select any object (= child layer) on a documents 'paper'/'screen' view? –> If yes: how? – Any keys to hit while clicking? It seems it helps/i need to switch "personas" to enable one or the other object selection in the documents view. – Is this intended?
