When I try to select more than one image at a time to place into text frames, Publisher crashes immediately -

Hello Team i've been working on a project to check the new AFPub .270 but noticed: The software crash every time I tried to reorder the pages using the drag and drop method. i Tried to re-order one page at a time made the software crash. i Tried to re-order couple of pages (4 in this case) made the software crash Note: This Manual Re-ordering of pages was 100% working in previous version ! Suggestion: Not only it would be great for this to be fixed but, Dev's should implement a complementary method of Page re-reorder instead of havong only one way to do that, thus putting us in safe land; if one fails, we can use the other method. Blessings ! -
Designer crashes all the time when I copy-paste content from one document to an other document. I have 2 documents opened in Designer and want to copy content from one document to the other. This happens not only when I try to copy the content from a hole page, but also when I copy only a small tekstfield. -
I'm trying to create a Table of Contents for my document (see attached document). Steps to recreate: Generate some text. Go to the first page, and create a space to insert the TOC. I used a page break to push the first H1-Heading 1 paragraph to Page 2. From the Text menu, select Table of Contents > Insert Table of Contents Select Text Flow from the Look in: option. Clear the checkmark in front of H2-Heading2 Select Chapter Title Select H1-Heading1 Application crashes. Attached: Crash log file and sample document that I was working on. I saved an own table of contents layout. When I tried to delete it, Publisher crashed. -
Like the title say it is simple. I applied a vignette live filter and started to erase excess using brush tool with black color but APhoto crashed, it did happened twice on a normal JPEG file. Maybe it is a known bug for this beta, would be great to have it fixed. Blessings

Every single time I paste text from Gmail that contains line breaks combined with multiple types of formatting (Bold, italics, etc...) into a text box, Publisher will crash. This only happens when copying from Chrome, as pasting the same text from other sources seems stable. The current beta doesn't seem to like Gmail on Chrome much... -
I have been using AP for several months with no problem. Recently, however, I started using the Eraser tool rather extensively. The program totally closes pretty often when I go to the top left-hand corner of the window to change the size of my Eraser tool. I have done a soft reset as I read about in another post and the problem persists. I am working on the newest version of AP on a Mac. The crashes have happened when working with different files, so I don't think a particular file is the problem. -
I have been using affinity designer and photo on my iPad for months now. I have never even so much has had a lag problem no matter what I did. It now suddenly is crashing anytime I try to create a new document from a photo in my gallery or if I create a blank document and try to place an image it will let me go through ,y gallery select the image and then suddenly crashes. Please any help is greatly appreciated!! -
I can open a file without a problem, but any time I do anything (change page, type text, select an object, the application crashes. It has something to do with the specific file, because I can open other files without a problem. How do I generate a crash report so I can try to debug? This the second file it has happened on.IN both cases, it is only after having done a lot of work on the document and reaching the point of cleaning up before final publication, so it is extremely frustrating. With the new update Publisher has been crashing when I try to edit master pages. So far is has crashed for: Duplicate a master page, double-click new one to edit Applying a master page to another master page -
I know there was an issue a bit ago with Sony A7iii RAW files not opening, and Affinity mentioned it was an iOS issue. iOS now has the Sony A7iii on their list of supported files, and rather than just bringing a black screen when I open RAW files from the camera, now it just crashes the app entirely. Anyone else having the same issue?

In the new v1.7.0.231 beta I get a complete crash when attempting to create a new image stack, it only happens if I un-tick 'Automatically Align Images' Something I have to do for this simple 4 image stack which was shot on a tripod but it includes waves and clouds. System- Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.17763 Build 17763 Intel i5-4690 @ 3.50GHz 16GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz Nvidia Geforce GT 740 -

load an image new layer gradient tool, draw a gradient move tool, select gradient layer and resize to smaller than main image draw another gradient on resized layer -- outline of layer in blue seems to be same size as original image, though reduced image layer appears ok. Repeat 4 and 5 Once this resulted in a whole system (win10) crash. Another time AP just bugged out and vanished. Some kind of memory leak or recursive spiral? Couple of processes fighting one another? -
Hi, yesterday I’ve noticed that when i decided to save a jpeg in photo library, affinity will crash immiedatly To save the photo, i went to export menu, choose jpeg, but instead of doing ok (it saves directly in iCloud), i use share, then save image. Affinity 1.6.11.85

I was having issues this morning with Auto-Correct. It seems that the Beta (192) still only ships with English UK, which is fine. I created a new text box and added text to test Auto-Correct to find it did not work. A search of the forum indicated that I need to change the language in the Character tool. It was set to EN/CA which is what I use, and probably set somewhere. I highlighted the test paragraph and changed the language to English UK. I entered in some items like (C), (a), -- (two dashes), (tm), to see if they would change. The first three changed as expected, but when I typed in (tm) APub stopped responding. I had to force it closed. -
Hi there just playing with the new beta .192 I edited a master page with the intention to create a dedicated template for a section intro page. Here is the process which ends in a crash: 1> Assigning a name with section manager 2> go to View > Studio > Fields 3> Sitting on the master page; go to Fields > Document Sections > click on Name 4> boom It might well be that the master page isn't the place to do this, it shouldn't crash either. When doing the same on a document page it seems to work as intended. Best regards, Jörg -
Publisher still crashes when I try to print. When I send a print to the printer the progress bar nearly gets to the end and than publisher crashes. This doesn't happen all the time. It's just when I print with bleed and marks and full rastered and even than it sometimes works very well Sometimes it helps to reboot the Laptop. Sometimes I it helps to changes printing options to make it work... I think Publisher doesn't like my Sharp MFP 2630 ..... but/ because Publisher is the only program that crashes while printing. So I export with bleed and marks to PDF than print this from Acrobat .. but that's no fun... -
Hello dear Dev's Just want to notify that the Recolor Adjustment makes the latest version of affinity Designer to crash. Applied a simple brush on a layer with black color and tried to simply recolor the art on that layer using a recolor adjustment but the minute i moved the the first handle it just crashed the software. Did someone noticed the same thing ?

After installing Beta 162, I decided to rework the Master Pages in a test document. I added 100 or so new pages to the document. I began assigning Master Pages to document pages. I added content in two ways. First, I created front matter content from Assets I had previously created. Second, I copied chapter stories from a real document in PagePlus 9, and pasting that content into text frames in Affinity Publisher, using Paste Special/Unicode Text. I set the Text Style to "Body Novel" which I created for the test document. I then made text formatting changes, such as adding a Drop Cap to the beginning paragraph, and increasing the size of "scene" change paragraph first characters. I worked on this for a couple of hours. Suddenly, after pasting some new content, my display went black, I received a warning that my display driver had failed and recovered, and Affinity Publisher spontaneously closed. No other running application was affected--only Affinity Publisher. I noticed this happen a couple of times before when using Affinity Publisher. I cannot reproduce this at will. The only thing I can think of is that it tends to happen when I've been using the program for a long time--several hours. My graphics display is a GeForce GT 710. My computer uses an AMD A10 quad-core processor, with 20GB RAM, 27" ASUS Monitor.

Running iOS 12 on a 12.5 iPad Pro and Designer version 1.6.2.42 Whenever I run the Export > Share > Save Image option, Designer crashes. I've tried resetting my iPad and reinstalling Designer, but the issue persists. I've tried different Designer files, and they all seem to be doing it. Any ideas? Sean
