  1. Photo and Designer still slow switching between brush groups. Video added. Get worse the longer you use it . Video show it just opened and no doc yet. The more you add the slower it gets. This is a V2 issue since release. V1 is fine. Gary Photo_2023-05-18_09-55-36.mp4
  2. Hello, While in Designer, switching from one brush category to another is painfully slow. Gary
  3. I absolutely love using the Affinity Designer iPad app and I’m sure I’m not the only one who has amassed a LARGE collection of brushes. So many that it’s almost impossible to quickly find the ones I want and duplicating and moving them to a new brush category is not the easiest solution. I would LOVE to have the ability to ‘star’ or ‘colour-code’ brushes in the brush panel so that when scrolling through the panel and various categories a user can very quickly see which brushes they have ‘favourited’ (they could have a bold outline around them or a star icon next to them). Even better would be the ability to colour-code them like you can with the layers panel. Imagine being able to see your favourite brush categories at a glance! P.S. this would be great for the desktop version too. Mockup attached. Love you.
  4. Hello, a suggestion that has been on my mind for a long time: it would be really nice if one could sort the brush categories in the brush palette afterwards. That one can sort the brushes within a category is good so far. Please go one step further and make it possible to sort the categories itself. Maybe this is already possible and I just haven't found it yet. Cheers, Puck
  5. Hi, This might have already been suggested but I could not find it. Currently if you name-search an asset using the asset search field, it will yield results from the currently selected category, searching within all the subcategory drop downs. It would be very handy to have the search work across ALL the categories. I have 17 categories each with numerous subcategories of assets, and if I type in "Folder" to the search bar I would like to see all the results across all the asset categories. Otherwise I have to repeat the search 17 times. Thanks!
  6. When I close the standard "iOS" asset category in the asset panel as well as all the sub-categories and start my own asset category with subfolders. Than I select this category and close AD.The next time I start AD the "iOS" category is open again and - even worse - all subcategories are opened again. This bug is time consuming an annnyoing! Is the only way to overcome this user- and workflow-unfriendly behaviour by deleting the "iOS" category - or did I miss out on some hidden setting to make the asset panel remember what category I'd like to work with? In case this is not a "feature" or "by design" (or both) please consider a user selected standard setting for the asset panel (for new documents) as well as a document depending setting ... (saved with the document). Cheers, Timo
  7. Can we get the ability to make our list of Brush Categories in Affinity Photo sort alphabetically? It would also be nice to have sub-categories or tags to better organize our libraries.
  8. Pretty much the title says it all, but it would be nice to be able to drag and drop assets between sub categories. I don't always organize things great on the first try, so easily reorganizing assets would be great. Thanks!
