Hello, friends. First of all i want to describe glitch. I have a design with two elements in one group. I make bevel FX adjustments to one of it. Then i copy one element with adjusted FX and then use for my group - Edit/Paste FX command. The settings for bevel FX are changed a lot and overall effect looks completely different. I dont check other FXs - it need to be checked additionally. SUGGESTION - why not to place Paste FX in drop down commands for the Layer tabs - as on my screenshot? It will be more handy and logical - where you work with FX, adjust, copy and paste them in one window ..... maybe )))

Hey, while I was looking for new practice projects, I found a little windmill which I recreated. For me as a beginner, it was quite hard to deal with the colors, especially in the shade. For the speedart video itself, I prepared a color palette so I don't have to find the colors again.

Hey, So I created a palette and exported them as a afpalette file. Unfortunately, it is not saved in cleartext. Is there a way to get the fill name (I created custom names) and their corresponding color in text format? Many thanks in advance.

Hallo, gibt es vielleicht ein deutsches Forum ? Is there a German Forum existing ?? Ich habe Fragen / I have questions I try in German: Ich Zeichne in "Pixel Persona" Problem 1: Ich habe ein XP-Pen Artist 16 Pro. Wenn ich Zeichnen möchte, wechselt dieser Ständig auf den Radiergummi.. Dann Switch ich wieder auf den Pinsel und irgendwann ist dieser wieder auf dem Radierer, das ist sehr nervig.. Wenn ich die Maus benutze passiert das nicht. Ich habe nichts gedrückt oder dergleichen. Hoffe auf eine Lösung. Problem 2: Ich kann den Druck des Stifts NICHT ausstellen. Wenn ich auf das Symbol klicke welches den Druck steuert (der Stift mit den 2 Kreisen), passiert absolut gar nichts. Ob ich ihn Drücke oder nicht ist egal, der Druck bleibt immer da. Sprich die Pinselgröße bzw Stärke des Pinsels andert sich bei Druck. Problem 3: Wenn ich mit einem Pinsel arbeite z.B. Schatten machen möchte und wieder über den Schatten gehe werden dieser Dunkler, da ich quasi drüber male, wie bekomme ich das weg ? Vielen Dank, ich hoffe sehr auf Antworten :-)

I have a file in Affinity Designer file on iPad Pro (latest generation) that won’t open without crashing Affinity Designer causing it to restart. Is there any way I can get my file back?

Hi, I'd like to make symmetrical patterns on Affinity Designer but when I select the Vector brush tool the 'Symmetry' and 'Mirror' options don't appear on the context menu. They do, however, appear on the online tutorial video Affinity Designer - Symmetry and mirror painting. I've also noticed that I don't have the standard brush tool, instead the Tools panel only has the Vector brush tool. Have the symmetry and mirror painting options been removed, along with the standard brush tool? Jobe

I know it’s been mentioned before but we REALLY need to have a lighter background for the assets menu in the iPad Apps. Or at least an option. As you can see in the screenshot it is Impossible to see dark colored assets that are imported in to the app. It is not practical to re-save (sometimes) hundreds of individual assets so that I can see them in the menu.

Hiya! I'm starting a new company from the ground and because its just me at this point (software development) I decided to do the logo and pretty much everything else myself =) Anyway, I'm not gonna mention the company name but to make sense of the logo lets say its called "DemoPlum", so the two predominant letters here (D and P) are used on the logo. I wanted something minimal that I can easily use as a flat logo on top of any color or background with any color variation. I know its not pixel perfect, I need to work details on it but what do yous think?

I know designer is meant for vector, but I just had so so much fun with it's pixel persona. I doubt if I'll ever use procreate much anymore, if ever. Not to mention if it's anything past a doodle or a sketch I always need the vector tools.

Dear everyone I recently started using Affinity products and I'm having troubles figuring out why I have incompatible color palettes in Publisher and Designer. Maybe I've messed up some settings or something, but when I copy color number from Publisher and paste it in Designer I get a different color. It looks like the same color is brighter in Designer than in Publisher. You can see it on screenshots attached. This is very annoying and I don't know how to get rid of this problem. I would appreciate your help. Thank you very much!

For example - i have complex file with layers. Each layer has it is own set of effects and transparency settings - but the same content - some vector shape in curves or some word or logo. Then i wish to replace the object (shape in curves) in each layer - but want to replace in ones - and other dependencies also updates automatically. In the same manner there are templates made for use in Photoshop. What is the right name for this functionality and where i can read about this ?
