  1. Today I added some pages to my Publisher document. I did this by choosing 'add pages' and then indicating after which page I wanted the new pages to start. As a result of doing this, Publisher created a new section in the document which I did not want. I can't find any way to delete that section or to make those new pages part of the first section. I've looked at tutorials and searched on the web, to no avail. So, is there is way to add pages without creating a new section? And how do you delete an unwanted section? Thanks
  2. Hi, I'm working on an iMac with Publisher 1.8.0 downloaded from the AppleStore. In my project I have 4 master page. Default Chapter Section Text I created 6 pages with Master Page "Chapter". I edited the 6 pages. Then I added a page with the Master Page "Section" after page 1. The page with the Master Page "Section" is loaded and editable but all following pages get blank (white pages). I tried with different Master page and number of pages and always the same. I put 2 attachments. The first "Chapter you see the Chapter created. The attachment "Blank" after adding a page after page 2, all the following pages are now blank. During the troubleshoot I realize that if I add 2 pages and more all is good but if I add 1 page I have the problem. The option "Add page", add 1 page but only at the end of the document, no option where we want the new page. So I decided to add 2 pages with master "Section", it works then I deleted 1 Section page since I want only one and all the following pages get blank. So my workaround for now is to add 2 pages with master page "section" and apply the master page "Text" to the second one. Any though?
  3. Hey there! I'm making a rock climbing information book and I frequently need to add pages into the middle of the document. My problem is when I try to add a page, some contents get moved around (mostly to outside of the pages) Here's the before screenshot: And here are two screenshots from after I add one page to the middle: You can see in the pictures that some pages are left completely unaffected, some page are partly affected, and some pages have their entire contents moved to outside the page areas. Additionally, this happens across the whole document after where the page was inserted. A few extra notes: Each page is grouped into a single layer, but when a page is "partly affected" the layer will be split up The same happens when I drag a page from later in the document The precise effects of adding a page is not consistent Very rarely a page is added without affecting the other content command-z will remove the just-added page but will not accurately put all of the assets back in their original locations I think my question is obvious: Is there any way to avoid shifting content when adding a page in the middle of the document? Thanks in advance!
  4. Not sure how to explain this, but I am creating a journal type of book and I wish to have several types of pages with different attributes and since it will be over 100 pages, (some lined pages, some blank pages, and a miix of lined pages with different opaque graphic embedded in a staggered fashion) I need to add the "master" pages in different staggered order, not just a group of one together, then a group of another together one block... Adding one by one for a many page repeating project is pretty tedious. I'm not sure if I am the only person who would havre such a requirement or not, and I am not sure if I even explained it correctly. The only option now is to add one or a group in contiguous blocks of pages, which won't really work for me without having to do it one by one. This is fine for a few pages but go into 100 or more pages and it becomes a nightmare. I don't even know if this is possible to do what I want... I am having issues related to this here:
  5. Unlike the previous software I bought Serif DrawPlus8, Affinity Designer lacks the feature of adding additions pages. Yours truly, Robert
