  1. I have tried to scan using Acquire Image in Affinity Photo version 2.2.0 from my Epson XP 4200-series and it previews and scans, but not into the application itself. It just sits in the scanner window. I just tried it with Affinity Photo v.1.10.6 and it works perfectly. I am on a 27"iMac, 3,4 GHz Intel Core i5 with Radeon Pro 570 4 GB and 40 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 running MacOS 13.5.2 (22G91) As long as I can use v 1 it is not a problem, but thought you should know.
  2. iMac using High Sierra with a Canon 9000F Mark II on my 10-day trial of Affinity Photo. I am pleased to see that AP recognizes my scanner. However, I would like to be able to designate a larger output scan size of my 35mm negatives/slides. It appears as though the default output size is the same as the 35mm frame. Using Vuescan, I typically scan the image at 10" x 300dpi. Is there a similar adjustment available for AP? I would prefer to start with more data rather than sample up during the export. Thanks.
  3. Hi all, Affinity does not detect my Epson V700 scanner. I'm new to Affinity and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced the same, or have any idea why Affinity doesn't detect my scanner? Cheers Peter
  4. If I scan (Epson Perfection V550) in greyscale at 600 dpi, the image comes into Affinity Photo as if it's been through a shredder. Works fine in Pixelmator, Photoshop, etc File attached and preview/screenshot. I primarily need scanner support(not good at the moment), some image tweaking (seems fine) and a Save For Web with preview would be great at some point. thanks, -damian scanfail.afphoto
